Rather than refering to ancient religious texts which often contradict themselves, it would be more logical to analyze objectively whether this sexual tendency which could possibly confuse some people is a real danger for others or for societies.
Personally I don’t care if this sexuality is against laws of God, against nature, a disease, a vice, a disgusting practice, a sign of decadence or something perfectly normal. For me the question must be: Is this way of life harmful for others? And as I see, it’s only something that concern consenting and adults persons who generally never choose to be like that. So there is no reasons to forbid or punish that. I strongly suppose that obliging a homosexual to be a heterosexual is equivalent in traumatism for a heterosexual obliged to be homosexual.

I could said that one of the bigger warrior of the second world war was an homosexual named Alan Turing who with his brain shortened the war of several years by his discoveries of how decoding the messages of the Enigma system. We can say that in his short life he invented computers and won the Second World War before his suicide because he couldn’t stand the treatment he was obliged to take as punishment for his homosexuality.

I had myself homosexual experiences, so, I know I prefer wemen. However, I support the LGBT community in their fight. Law doesn't stop them, religion neither. I believe in God in my way, and I think he doesn't make mistakes, but mortal men who read or wrote the texsts can do so.
Several Amerindian cultures accepted people we call today LGBT, several ancient African and Asian tribes too. Those cultures forbided it because of the collonization.

Also ich wäre froh wenn wir es in Deutschland machen würden wie in Polen wo Städte und Dörfer zu LSBTI freien Zonen erklärt werden. Menschen die so veranlagt sind sollen das in ihren Privatwohnungen ausleben und nicht in der Öffentlichkeit denn es gibt auch Kinder und Menschen mit Schamgefühl!
So I would be happy if we would do it in Germany like in Poland where cities and villages are declared LGBTI free zones. People who are so disposed should live it out in their private apartments and not in public because there are also children and people with a sense of shame!

Die Gottesanbeterin frißt das Männchen nach der Paarung auf. Deswegen ist sie aber nicht verhaltensgestört oder böse sondern es ist ein natürlicher Vorgang. Würde man Tiere nach der Motivation für ihr Handeln befragen so würden diese keine Antwort geben können da ihr Sinnen und Trachten instinktgeleitet ist. Tiere sind nicht verantwortlich. Der Mensch ist aber für sein Handeln verantwortlich.
Die Bibel spricht klar von Sünde bei homosexuellem Verhalten.

Als Gott den Menschen erschaffen hatte gab es keine Sünde. Die Sünde ist erst entstanden als Adam und Eva gesündigt hatten. Seitdem haben die Menschen Wünsche die nicht dem Willen Gottes entsprechen. Die Aufgabenstellung ist jetzt diese Wünsche nicht in die Tat umzusetzen.

Es ist gehört zwar nicht zu diesem Thema, aber da Du nett gefragt hast möchte ich Dir natürlich eine Antwort geben. Es kommt jetzt darauf an ob Du mich theologisch oder politisch frägst.
Theologisch gilt für mich Apostelgeschichte Kapitel 4, Vers 12:
"In keinem andern ist das Heil, auch ist kein anderer Name unter dem Himmel den Menschen gegeben darin wir sollen selig werden!"
Jesus hat gesagt, es gibt nur einen Weg zum Vater.
"Ich bin der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben, niemand kommt zum Vater als allein durch mich" (Johannes, Kapitel 3, Vers 16)
Wenn also Jesus sagt es gibt keinen Weg außer durch ihn so müssen alle anderen Religionen falsch sein. Sonst würde das ja nicht stimmen.
Es gibt jetzt nur zwei Möglichkeiten. Entweder es stimmt was Jesus gesagt hat, dann ist der Islam eine falsche Religion oder Jesus war der größte Lügner aller Zeiten und alle Religionen haben recht!
Politisch müssen wir mit dem Islam klarkommen. Wir haben uns jahrhundertelang bekriegt was viel Leid und Tote verursacht hat. In einer sich immer mehr globalisierenden Welt wo man in wenigen Stunden auf einen anderen Kontinent fliegen kann werden wir mit völlig anderen Wertvorstellungen und Weltanschauungen sowie Religionen konfrontiert. Sich gegenseitig zu achten und zu respektieren ist eine Herausforderung. Man sieht es wieder am neuesten Krieg zwischen Armenien und Aserbaidschan was ja eigentlich wieder einmal ein Religionskrieg zwischen Christentum und Islam ist.
