I did but it broke and no because I don't think it is for decoration. then again, for some people it is

I have gotten jewelry from parents and nothing from anyone else

yes and I still do. my mom does too and I just love jewelery

I had earring piercing since i was little so I do not remember but I did my own nose piercing when I was 14 or 15 and it hurt so bad and I let it close so I did all of that hard work for nothing lolz

6️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you think is nice if your partner wears it or jewelry that you really dont like?

I don't want my partner to have a nose piercing or ear because in my family that is wrong for a guy.

On a normal day I have a watch, I'm not sure if that counts as jewelry. And for special occasions, I have a ton of necklaces and bracelets that I almost never wear. To be honest, last time I put on jewelry was probably about a year ago.

2️⃣ Do you wear a watch and do you think a watch is also jewelry?

I do wear a watch. I don't personally consider it jewelry, but I know some people do so I'm not too surprised when someone says a watch is jewelry.

3️⃣ What is the most special jewelry that you ever got (like for example from family or your parents or maybe your bf or gf)?

All of it is special to me, even if I don't wear it. But I have two rings that I really like. One is some kind of dragon that wraps around my finger and the other is a compass ring(not very useful nowadays but very cool).

4️⃣ Did you ever make jewelry yourself (maybe now or when you were small)?

Yes, but not with real jewels. I made bead bracelets and necklaces as a kid, and as a teenager I stuck stuff in epoxy to make necklaces and other things like that.

I don't have that.

I don't like when jewelry is too big or shiny. I think jewelry is supposed to be subtle and only to outline your beauty, not outshine you. But ancient Egyptian necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc. are just beautiful, even if they're a bit extravagant

I don't think so. I haven't been in contact with every existing material on earth, so I can't be sure that there isn't some obscure material out there I'm allergic to.

For me the answers are these:

1️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you wear normally everyday or for super special moments?

The only what i normally wear is earrings. My parents dont really allow much more bc they say at school it distracts only and you dont want be looking special with the jewelry bc you can give wrong signal. But it is also bit old fashion that way bc many others in my school wear jewelry but mostly small and nice and not super shiny or expensive but just small things. And with sports it is NOTTTT allowed like if you have normal class or give performance. If it is super special moment like wedding i can wear only earrings and maybe super modest like not expensive necklace bc it is a rule that it cant be more or same like my mom or others. But i understand it of course.

2️⃣ Do you wear a watch and do you think a watch is also jewelry?

I dont wear a watch but just use phone to check the time or in class there is just a clock simply. But for example when you are out then just my phone is enough. And i think a watch can be jewelry like others said above but it just depends.

For me the most special is not expensive at all or super shiny or anything like that. But for me it is the MOSTTTTT important and i got it from my grandmother when she was more clear and she did not yet have dementia. And i do NOTTT wear it but i keep it super safe in my room in my closet. It is a necklace with a small water drop as hanger. It is abt my nature element and my grandmother believes i am water as element. Maybe other people think it is weird abt nature elements but for me it is very important bc my grandmother gave it to me and i try to be like she said bc it is important for me to be like your nature. That is also what she said so you dont get problems.

Yes when i was small. Now not really but i do like what others make and i prefer myself to do other things as hobbies.

I got earrings when i was 4 and my mom said that i was REALLY nervous and also super tensed. But i only have earrings and not piercings.

I think my partner should decide himself what he likes for jewelry. I do like if people have jewelry that it is modest and not super shiny with a LOTTT if it is your partner.

For earrings yes bc it can get super irritated and red if you have the wrong materials. Silver and gold are not a problem but some other materials yes.

I dont have piercings. For some people i think piercings look really nice and cool. Just like for example for some people a hairstyle or certain clothes look really nice and for others maybe not really. So for me i think earrings is enough but more does on me not look nice i believe. But others can really wear it nicely.

1. I always wear my earrings and pendant on a chain set (snakes btw), my pendant with tree made of precious stones and pendant with Eminem. And also two rings, also snakes. And it's all silver.

Jewelry I wear everyday are my earrings, my piercings of course and I also cannot go outside without a necklace because I'd feel naked otherwise. I guess I just got used to wearing necklaces

I used to wear watches but I can't really stand the feeling of having something around my wrist so I stopped wearing it (same goes for bracelets). Also I think that watches definitely can be jewelry. Many people wear watches just to be stylish tho I see their main functions as... well... being a watch?

My bf gave me a necklaces from when he was abroad and I have been wearing it ever since

As a kid I used to macke little bracelets with these super colorful charms that are made for kids🙂

I have four piercings on my ears (not counting my earrings), and I can say it definitely does hurt. Pain tolerance really varies from person to person tho, so for some it might not be as bad as for others. Personally, I was pretty nervous about my first piercing, but with the others I felt much more relaxed. The actual piercing was quite painful, but afterwards I barely noticed it anymore unless something snagged on it... especially when my hair got caught in it, which was the worst! I’d recommend wearing your hair up in a ponytail for the first few days or weeks after getting a piercing

6️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you think is nice if your partner wears it or jewelry that you really dont like?

I mean, I personally like jewelry but I really don't care if my partner wears some or not. It's his decision and I would never say something about that🙂

Also about the second question: I like my jewlery to be decent and not like "in your face" if that makes sense. Personally I could never wear something bulky but that's because I think it doesn't suit me. I know many people who look great with that kind of jewelry.

I would love to get a new piercing on my ear but I don't know which one. I also don't want my ears to be overloaded with piercings so it's quite hard to decide wether I should get one or not

But piercings are more thick or maybe bc way they do it in your ear? 🙄🙄 And Stasy for me wearing earrings is not super scary like if you get stuck bc i have very small so more it is like your hair gets around it and not for example clothes really. So if you have small earrings it is not a very big problem to be so afraid of it i think. 🙂 ANDDDD i added your question in the list!!! 😛

1) I always wear my earrings, my necklace, my rings and my bracelets, but for special occasions I can wear different earrings or necklace.

2) I wear a watch, but I don't think that jewelry.

3) When I was younger, my cousin crafted a necklace for me and it's very pretty.

4) Yes. I used to make bracelets when I was a kid, and a few years ago I made necklaces and a copper ring (which I lost 🙁)

5) It only hurts a little and for like 5 seconds (I got two earrings on each ear), I was nervous but actually everything went out fine.

6) I don't really care, they can just wear whatever they like.

7) Only for earrings but if I wear gold or silver it's okay 🙂.

I think if no guys answered yet, it’s because most of us probably wear little to no jewelry 😅 So we don’t know how to answer most of the questions 😅

I do, but I think a watch is not a jewelry, maybe more than that because I only use it to tell the time and not necessarily wear it to embellish myself or anything.

Well it’s something that mind sound a bit controversial, but from what I’ve noticed, earrings are most commonly worn by men within the LGBT community (like gay, queer, etc) And most of us guys may consider wearing earrings as something feminine or not part of their style, that’s why we don’t wear them… There are exceptions of course, but it depends.

I have the same as Ao and also @Fleurke that if it is not gold or silver it maybe goes not well bc your ear can get red around the earring and irritate a lottt. But with gold and silver it is not really a problem. We have shops where it is much cheaper to get jewelry but quality is not really good and with earrings you really have to be careful. But silver earrings are not too expensive normally.

And @Sabri_KC you are super brave bc you are the first guy to answer the questions!! 😛 😛 My dad really likes his watch and he looks often on Marktplaats which is like vinted but for ANYTHING and he likes looking for watches and he knows a lot abt it. And Sabri if you marry is it normal that you wear a wedding ring or maybe smt else? I think in France maybe a wedding ring but i dont know if that is also the rule in Algeria. 🙄🙄

But piercings are more thick or maybe bc way they do it in your ear? 🙄🙄 And Stasy for me wearing earrings is not super scary like if you get stuck bc i have very small so more it is like your hair gets around it and not for example clothes really. Piercings (on the ear) usually hurt more than regular ear lobes because they have to be pierced through cartilage, which is tougher and way more sensitive. Earlobe piercings on the other hand go through soft tissue made of fat and connective tissue, so they’re generally much less painful

Ok i always try not to become fat and i am always really watching a lot that you dont gain weight. But now i found out that i have fatty ears bc earlobes are made of fat!! 😳😳😵😵‍💫 Sorry that is is just a joke bc i know that you also need fat in your body but i hope just not a lot!!! 😛 😛

Besides the anklet, I think everything else is fine.

Although I have to say there is one particular thing my partner can do that may make me hate it: wearing too much jewelry at the same time. When I still lived in my homecountry Vietnam, I saw some women wear a lot of bracelets, rings, chains, whatever you name it, all made of gold, at the same time. Especially old ladies living in the countryside. I have to say, I don't think doing that will make women more attractive or pretty. It's vice versa in my eyes, actually. Also, why would want to turn yourself into target for criminals? That's what I really want to ask them if I live in my homecountry right now.

But come on, some men footballers wear or used to wear that, for example, Cristiano Ronaldo or Sergio Ramos. So the stereotype may not be true for nowadays. I don't care if men wear it anyway.

So back in 2014, when I was still in my homecountry Vietnam, around that time I started to play Yu-Gi-Oh!, but just through PC games (Power of Chaos series), not with the physical cards. One of my friends, really close one, before she moved abroad, gave me one real Yu-Gi-Oh! card. Knowing my favorite card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the card she gave me is Blue-Eyes White Dragon from 10th year Anniversary Pack. Again, this was 2014, back then to get official Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in Vietnam, it was not easy for normal cards already, let alone the card she gave me is a limited edition card. Basically, she gave it to me with some encouragement that one day I can get some cards, get 2 other Blue-Eyes White Dragons, build a deck, and be like Seto Kaiba. And sure it does work, more than 10 years, from that Blue-Eyes White Dragon card she gave me to begin with, I now have, well, I don't know, maybe thousands of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, I lost my count long ago. Also, another thing is, she kind of want it to be like my lucky charm, with her funny but adorable wishes and blessings 🙂)

Moreover, about that particular card, after receiving it from her, I kind of make it like a necklace. And although nowadays, I only wear it in really really special occasions, since I can't wear it during my daily work. But sure enough, when I was still in Vietnam, whenever I left my house, I always wore it. And I don't know if I am superstitious or not, but I always feel everything is better when I have it by my side. Maybe my friend's wishes and blessings really works. The only downside is I can't wear it if there is raining, since that would ruin the card. That's why usually if I go outside with the card, I also bring my backpack so if it is going to rain, I can put the card in my backpack, with even more protection inside.

I know by normal definition, even if I make it like a necklace, that may not count as jewelry. But to me, it is more valuable than any kind of jewelry. Trust me, if anybody ask me to trade that card for all the money and treasure in the word, 100% I would say no, immediately.

I hope my story is good enough for question 1, 3, and 4.

And you wear it not like for example only clothing or to check time but it is for decoration so it is jewelry i think. 🙄🙄

For me the most important necklace i got from my grandmom and i NEVER wear it only keep it in my room bc i am super afraid i loose it. I even keep it to myself so for example i dont show it friends or anybody except me and if my grandmom would want it her too of course so it is only for us. And i also have not a necklace but it is like a red line if that is the correct word in English like a necklace but it is just a mini rope and it has a green jade Buddha. But i also keep that only at home bc it has for me special meaning bc who gave it. 🙂
