I think if no guys answered yet, it’s because most of us probably wear little to no jewelry πŸ˜… So we don’t know how to answer most of the questions πŸ˜…

But I’ll try my best to answer the questions I can answer

1️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you wear normally everyday or for super special moments?

None

2️⃣ Do you wear a watch and do you think a watch is also jewelry?

I do, but I think a watch is not a jewelry, maybe more than that because I only use it to tell the time and not necessarily wear it to embellish myself or anything.

3️⃣ What is the most special jewelry that you ever got (like for example from family or your parents or maybe your bf or gf)?

None πŸ˜…

4️⃣ Did you ever make jewelry yourself (maybe now or when you were small)?

No πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

5️⃣ If you have earrings or piercings: did it hurt to get them? Were you super nervous?

I don’t πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

6️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you think is nice if your partner wears it or jewelry that you really dont like?

Hmmmm, maybe a nice necklace πŸ™‚

7️⃣ Are you allergic for some type material?

No I’m not

➑️ New question from JanyiahMoon27: What kind of piercing do you want and why? Or if not, why do you not have a piercing?

I don’t want any piercing because it feels really off for me to just have a hole in a random place on my face to put some jewelry πŸ₯² I know it’s more than that, but I’m not interested at all.

➑️ New question from Yue_: Are there any guys who read this forum who wear jewelry?

I’m not one of them 😭

➑️ New question from PinkiePie: Why don't men wear earrings, it's hot?!

Well it’s something that mind sound a bit controversial, but from what I’ve noticed, earrings are most commonly worn by men within the LGBT community (like gay, queer, etc) And most of us guys may consider wearing earrings as something feminine or not part of their style, that’s why we don’t wear them… There are exceptions of course, but it depends.

8️⃣ What question would you like to add to the list?

How do you feel when wearing jewelry ?

Thank you very much Aoooo @AgDel and @Sabri_KC!!! I have the same as Ao and also @Fleurke that if it is not gold or silver it maybe goes not well bc your ear can get red around the earring and irritate a lottt. But with gold and silver it is not really a problem. We have shops where it is much cheaper to get jewelry but quality is not really good and with earrings you really have to be careful. But silver earrings are not too expensive normally.

And @Sabri_KC you are super brave bc you are the first guy to answer the questions!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜› My dad really likes his watch and he looks often on Marktplaats which is like vinted but for ANYTHING and he likes looking for watches and he knows a lot abt it. And Sabri if you marry is it normal that you wear a wedding ring or maybe smt else? I think in France maybe a wedding ring but i dont know if that is also the rule in Algeria. πŸ™„πŸ™„

And Sabri if you marry is it normal that you wear a wedding ring or maybe smt else? I think in France maybe a wedding ring but i dont know if that is also the rule in Algeria. πŸ™„πŸ™„

Yes totally, in both countries it is a wedding tradition. πŸ’

Thank you very much Stasyyy @PinkiePie, Marie @Txya and @Fleurke!!!! 😊😊 Just one super small question i have for @Txya and that is why is a piercing in your ear more painful than earrings bc it is in the same place? But piercings are more thick or maybe bc way they do it in your ear? πŸ™„πŸ™„ And Stasy for me wearing earrings is not super scary like if you get stuck bc i have very small so more it is like your hair gets around it and not for example clothes really. So if you have small earrings it is not a very big problem to be so afraid of it i think. πŸ™‚ ANDDDD i added your question in the list!!! πŸ˜›

And i have a question for guys bc NOOOOOOO guys yet answered!!! So @Etienne, @Simone724, @TomiL, @diogenes_cask, @Piwipete, @Sabri_KC, @Colin_Der_Backfisch, @Lianshen, @PeterPositiv, @IanHaines, @NewTravelerInTown, @BartL, @Parsaa, @Billa, @Ilexforest, @Jullian, @Savi2024, @Call_me_mattia, @Pennarossa2024, @Paolo_nalim, @shirazikira, @TheLOVERofMachines and ANY other guy do you have jewelry (like a watch, bracelet, earrings, necklace, piercing or ring)? Sorry if im too curious abt it but i just would like to know and i think maybe others too!!! πŸ˜ƒ

Piercings (on the ear) usually hurt more than regular ear lobes because they have to be pierced through cartilage, which is tougher and way more sensitive. Earlobe piercings on the other hand go through soft tissue made of fat and connective tissue, so they’re generally much less painful

Ok i always try not to become fat and i am always really watching a lot that you dont gain weight. But now i found out that i have fatty ears bc earlobes are made of fat!! πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ˜΅πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Sorry that is is just a joke bc i know that you also need fat in your body but i hope just not a lot!!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

2) I used to wear it but not anymore. I still keep that watch but I have to replace the strap and battery if I want to make it work again.
Is a watch a jewelry? If it is a luxury one, made of gold or silver, then yes. If not, like my Casio F-91W, then no.
I still prefer my old good Casio, by the way.

5) I don't have either of them, and I don't have plan to get them for myself, so I guess I can skip to next questions πŸ™‚)

6) There is one particular jewelry, I don't say I don't like it, I just don't understand it. That is anklet, or ankle bracelet. For sure if my girlfriend or wife wear that, my question for her would be: "What is the idea here?". I really hope she can explain it to me.

Besides the anklet, I think everything else is fine.

Although I have to say there is one particular thing my partner can do that may make me hate it: wearing too much jewelry at the same time. When I still lived in my homecountry Vietnam, I saw some women wear a lot of bracelets, rings, chains, whatever you name it, all made of gold, at the same time. Especially old ladies living in the countryside. I have to say, I don't think doing that will make women more attractive or pretty. It's vice versa in my eyes, actually. Also, why would want to turn yourself into target for criminals? That's what I really want to ask them if I live in my homecountry right now.

7) No, I don't think so.

8) I can't think of anything, so no further questions from me.

+ Extra question 1 (from JanyiahMoon27): I think it is quite painful to have any kind of piercing, right? So piercing for me? No, thank you.

+ Extra question 2 (from Yue): Uh, I think you have to read my story below and decide for yourself the thing I would mention in my story is a jewelry or not. However, I think there would be some other guys who wear jewelry reading this forum anyway.

+ Extra question 3 (from PinkiePie): What do you mean it's hot? It's hurt, did you mean that?
Then yes, for me, like I said before, it looks painful, so I don't and won't wear it.
But also, there is the stereotype. For a lot of people, earrings are women's thing, so men should not wear it. But come on, some men footballers wear or used to wear that, for example, Cristiano Ronaldo or Sergio Ramos. So the stereotype may not be true for nowadays. I don't care if men wear it anyway.

You guys may notice I did not answer question 1, 3, and 4. I will answer all 3 questions with a story, and you guys will decide if this would count or not. Hope you guys are ready for it.

So back in 2014, when I was still in my homecountry Vietnam, around that time I started to play Yu-Gi-Oh!, but just through PC games (Power of Chaos series), not with the physical cards. One of my friends, really close one, before she moved abroad, gave me one real Yu-Gi-Oh! card. Knowing my favorite card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the card she gave me is Blue-Eyes White Dragon from 10th year Anniversary Pack. Again, this was 2014, back then to get official Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in Vietnam, it was not easy for normal cards already, let alone the card she gave me is a limited edition card. Basically, she gave it to me with some encouragement that one day I can get some cards, get 2 other Blue-Eyes White Dragons, build a deck, and be like Seto Kaiba. And sure it does work, more than 10 years, from that Blue-Eyes White Dragon card she gave me to begin with, I now have, well, I don't know, maybe thousands of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, I lost my count long ago. Also, another thing is, she kind of want it to be like my lucky charm, with her funny but adorable wishes and blessings πŸ™‚)

Moreover, about that particular card, after receiving it from her, I kind of make it like a necklace. And although nowadays, I only wear it in really really special occasions, since I can't wear it during my daily work. But sure enough, when I was still in Vietnam, whenever I left my house, I always wore it. And I don't know if I am superstitious or not, but I always feel everything is better when I have it by my side. Maybe my friend's wishes and blessings really works. The only downside is I can't wear it if there is raining, since that would ruin the card. That's why usually if I go outside with the card, I also bring my backpack so if it is going to rain, I can put the card in my backpack, with even more protection inside.

I know by normal definition, even if I make it like a necklace, that may not count as jewelry. But to me, it is more valuable than any kind of jewelry. Trust me, if anybody ask me to trade that card for all the money and treasure in the word, 100% I would say no, immediately.

I hope my story is good enough for question 1, 3, and 4.

Thank you very much that you also wrote in the forum!!! πŸ™‚ ANDDDD i think what you wrote abt you made a special necklace with the card i think it is jewelry bc i think it does not have to be super expensive or shiny but that it is important to you and that you wear it for feeling special or comfortable and that you want show it maybe to friends. And you wear it not like for example only clothing or to check time but it is for decoration so it is jewelry i think. πŸ™„πŸ™„

For me the most important necklace i got from my grandmom and i NEVER wear it only keep it in my room bc i am super afraid i loose it. I even keep it to myself so for example i dont show it friends or anybody except me and if my grandmom would want it her too of course so it is only for us. And i also have not a necklace but it is like a red line if that is the correct word in English like a necklace but it is just a mini rope and it has a green jade Buddha. But i also keep that only at home bc it has for me special meaning bc who gave it. πŸ™‚

Thank you very much Paolo!! πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š I always really like it when you write!! πŸ™‚ Can i ask maybe one question about your answers: the ring that you got as present from your girlfriend. Do you still have it? And i hope that you had a really beautiful and super romantic time and that it was really special too!! ❀️❀️

1️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you wear normally everyday or for super special moments?

I wear none, unless a bell counts as one sometimes. Rarely do I have it though

2️⃣ Do you wear a watch and do you think a watch is also jewelry?

I don't have watch, but some are jewelry for me. Watches are mostly for decorations and rarely useful anymore with phones... Some are pieces of art and I can imagine people wearing them like some other wear a necklace or a bracelet.

3️⃣ What is the most special jewelry that you ever got (like for example from family or your parents or maybe your bf or gf)?

I got a ring once. Didn't really work as intended it seems.

4️⃣ Did you ever make jewelry yourself (maybe now or when you were small)?*

Nah

6️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you think is nice if your partner wears it or jewelry that you really dont like?

I like a necklace with a nice little pendent. I find most piercings unappealing though.

7️⃣ Are you allergic for some type material?

I don't think I have any allergies, at all

➑️ New question from Yue_: Are there any guys who read this forum who wear jewelry?

I'm sure a few of us wear a nice ring or watch at least πŸ™‚
I used to have a cross too, but I don't know where it is. I guess I need a new one.

➑️ New question from PinkiePie: Why don't men wear earrings, it's hot?!

Maybe too related to a certain sexual orientation or very feminine in the west? Can also be seen as non profesionnal or outcastMaybe too related to a certain sexual orientation or very feminine in the west? Can also be seen as non profesionnal or outcast

Maybe too related to a certain sexual orientation or very feminine in the west? Can also be seen as not serious, not to say outcast?

@Lianshen when you wrote that you sometimes wear a bell i thought like this:

BUTTTT i dont think that is what you mean!!! 😝😝😝

@Lianshen when you wrote that you sometimes wear a bell i thought like this:

πŸ“ΈοΈ πŸ“ΈοΈ

BUTTTT i dont think that is what you mean!!! 😝😝😝

Not really, it's closer to the belt and usually mostly because I tend to scare peopel when I arrive behind them...

Not really, it's closer to the belt and usually mostly because I tend to scare peopel when I arrive behind them...

Hahahhh omgg it is not Halloween YETTTT!!!! So you cant scare people from behind that you walk secretly!!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜› BUTTT who give you the bell? Did you buy it ORRRR smb who you scared a LOTTT?? πŸ™‚

I also think that for ppl who wrote in this forum that the most important jewelry is not bc it is super expensive but that it is bc somebody special gave it. And i think that is important bc the nicest jewelry is normally a gift from smb to you instead of that you buy it yourself. That i think is really nice bc it gives more meaning too and it becomes even more special. ✨⭐

I have a few from temples I visited. Another is a gift for hiking actually... not to surprise bears, but I don't think it's effective

1️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you wear normally everyday or for super special moments?

I wear ring on my one of the finger regularly. And Occasionally I wear chain.

2️⃣ Do you wear a watch and do you think a watch is also jewelry?

Watch is not jewelry, but if it is made of precious metal or stone then it is .. πŸ˜ƒ

3️⃣ What is the most special jewelry that you ever got (like for example from family or your parents or maybe your bf or gf)?

I got gold chain with Rudraksh from my mother. I still have it.

4️⃣ Did you ever make jewelry yourself (maybe now or when you were small)?

In my childhood, I used to make jewelry from paper or dough. πŸ˜ƒ

5️⃣ If you have earrings or piercings: did it hurt to get them? Were you super nervous?

I had earrings like magnet buttons, so I had not pierced it.

6️⃣ What kind of jewelry do you think is nice if your partner wears it or jewelry that you really dont like?

I like all kind of jewelry. My partner will be open to wear any type of jewelry, and I will surprise her regularly if she fond of jewelry. πŸ˜ƒ

7️⃣ Are you allergic for some type material?

No.

8️⃣ What question would you like to add to the list?

Not any.

➑️ New question from JanyiahMoon27: What kind of piercing do you want and why? Or if not, why do you not have a piercing?

I would like to pierce one of my ears.

➑️ New question from Yue_: Are there any guys who read this forum who wear jewelry?

I used to wear ring on my finger.

➑️ New question from PinkiePie: Why don't men wear earrings, it's hot?!

I like to wear earring, I had magnet earrings, Now I am looking for piercing.

Can i ask maybe a weird question but i talked with a friend abt it today and we dont know the answer so i ask it here:

➑️ If u get a piercing do u have problems at a metal detector?

I think no but my friend said yes. So idk if maybe somebody knows the answer? Thank u very much!!!! πŸ™πŸ™

Hello everybody!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡ This is the forum abt jewelry and everything that is shiny and blings and that is nice!!! It does NOTTTTT have to be super expensive but the only thing that is important is that is special FOR YOU!!!!!!!! So for example maybe smt that you got from your grandparents or maybe that you got from a date or you saved to buy perhaps for yourself!!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜› Everything is nice to write abt!!!

1. I have this Silver Cross necklace I wear at all times got it from my godmother when I finished Confirmation school. And then I usually dont have earring Im thinking of buying some cause I dont have any thats good. And for fancy moments I have this Kalevala necklace with like small teardrops. Got it as a confirmation present.

2. I dont I wish I had one of those old fashioned simple ones. And i do think its a jewelry.

3. This ladybug brooch. Its gold and has little diamonds as spots and is build on a big pearl. Obiosly its fake but its beatiful. Got it from my grandma when I started school cause my name is Kerttu and ladybug on Finnish is leppΓ€kerttu.

4. Little bracelets yea.

5. It did hurt. Room full of people and one chair on the middle and then pam your ears are pierced mostly it was the noise tho.

6. Too much is too much. I quess those chains that are popular nowdays are fine.

7. Not that i know of.

8. Another ear piarcing cause why not. But in all honesty its too expensive and painful and i fear I would not use it.

Thankkk u very much Sophiiaaa @Angelic_Princessss and Kerttuu @Torakka for sharing!!!!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡

But Sophia do u think that if u can get infection of earrings u can also get them with piercings i think right?? πŸ™„πŸ™„

And Kerttuuu what u described in 5 it made me look like 😨🫨😬😬 How u describe it is scary ALSOO bc all the ppl watch when it happens!!! πŸ†˜βŒ
