Anecdote: In 2003, French fries were renamed Freedom fries because of the war in Irak. France was against it, so America boycoted French productions. So even if French fries are Belgian, the name "French" was apparently a problem.

I dislike onions and wasn't aware that onion rings existed, so I assumed it was calmar ring, and got tricked, ahah.
