Anecdote: In 2003, French fries were renamed Freedom fries because of the war in Irak. France was against it, so America boycoted French productions. So even if French fries are Belgian, the name "French" was apparently a problem.

I haven't tasted onion rings yet...

I did, once, never again because it traumatized me to the point that I'm very suspiscious any time I eat a ring now :v

I dislike onions and wasn't aware that onion rings existed, so I assumed it was calmar ring, and got tricked, ahah.
