I like both! But I will have to say onion rings. Sure, they don't come in as much variety as french fries, but they are always tasty! Mmm!

Donow. I'm the kind of guy who doesn't have a favourite dish. Give me French fries and onion wings one day, and give me them another time but prepared by someone else, then I can tell you which French fries or onion wings I prefere.

That's like the "crème anglaise" which means "English cream" which is absolutely not English 🙂

Don't say that to people from North of France... Plus some French could eventually argue that Belgium is a region of France that doesn't know it... yet :v
As for your question, Fries, and I'd take calmar rings isntead of onion to go with it.

It's very rare nowadays, indeed. However, there is even a movement in Belgium called "rattachisme", especially with the troubles Belgium is facing
😉
