11: What do you think is the biggest challenge for society in Indonesia in the future? Do you think that challenge will be solved or that there will be problems?
Ah tbh even today we still living in challenge, there's a lot of challenge that must be solved from some aspect, like in financial, education, social and family.
Talking about this, will continue to be in contact with the culture that has been carried out for a long time, which is structured and rooted in every problem that exists. Yes, Indonesia is said to be a patriarchal country. but the good news more and more people are aware of this patriarchal issue, even though equality has not been fully achieved, but we are still trying.
if you wonder what is patriarchy, it's an issue which positions men as rulers in every aspect of life, whether in the state, society or family, while women are the inferior party who must obey men. nobody knows who start it. But the impact of this creating a lot issues.
like, for the family circle, thus causing the emergence of issues of fatherless, dictatorial fathers, and toxic husbands. although not all, but many.
Besides that, in economics, this culture causes a salary gap between male and female employees, even though in real life, it's not just men who provide the family, but also like single mother, and a woman in sandwich generation also need to provide her family.
In addition, in looking for a job, every company seems to make it difficult for existing vacancies, with unreasonable requirements. When compared to countries like the US, Australia or else, Indonesia is still lacking. Especially if you don't have connections or family or friends who work at your target company.
and also in education, the more we go here the education system is getting more unclear, like the zoning system without strict selection. i know they imitate japan, but not everything can be imitated. there is a reason why when you regist and want to continue your schooling you need a good grade, the reason is to spur your enthusiasm for learning.
although school is not only about learning, however, each level can also hone your social skills for speaking, presentation, commitment, teamwork, etc. Moreover, more and more school children are not reflecting educated children, such as bullying and threatening their teachers, trying to kill their teachers, bullying their friends and so on.
and again, every issues have the same common thread, namely that it will return to their family, and it's culture. But, we are still fighting, that is also the reason why I really want to help with my abilities π
12: What kind of sports did you do until now and what sports would you still like to learn and do?
I used to do taekwondo, yoga and cardio, But what I still do today is just cardio, and not as regularly as before because I'm getting busier. but in the future i really want to learn horse riding and fencing.
13: What is the most funny mistake that you ever made?
haha oh my that question π okay, i started drink alcohol in my 18, soju is my first alcohol and because I wasn't used to it, my tolerance is still low. until there was a moment when I'm so drunk and called my ex. i forgot we already broke up, but i still asked him to pick me up, and yea he picked me. the next day, i really regretted it, but in the end we decided to just be friends, it turned out that we are just compatible as friends.
14: Do you have a religion and do you believe in faith or karma? Do you have other beliefs that are very important for you?
yes, All Indonesian citizens are not allowed to be non-religious. Although some of them consider religion on the ID card as just a formality.
yes, i believe in both. despite of you have religion or no, we still have faith. but the purpose of faith is different.
one for the sake of being a good servant to God, and the other, for the sake of oneself and the environment/people around one.
It's like, when you want to build a family, people who have religion tend to follow the teachings of their religion and apply them in their family life, because they have faith in their God and without it, they worry they might make mistake or in the wrong path. In fact, if you study more deeply, every religion is flexible as long as you don't practice principles that are opposed by religion and the state, such as drug dealers, gamblers, prostitutes, etc.
and the others, They finally decided because they had faith in themselves that they could create a harmonious family. that's why in the end, Even though the goals and reasons are different, but we can still have faith and only achieve something if we try.
and about karma, even though in my religion it is not called karma, but actually it is the same. both have logic, we will reap what we sow. be it good or bad karma.
15: What are your favourite places in Jakarta (like shops and restaurants and parks or other places that you love)?
There are five favorite spots in Jakarta, namely the Blok M area, (my bf house π), the Kemang area, AeonMall, and the Sudirman area.
Those three areas are areas that are often popular with young people because there are so many instagrammable spots and delicious food. But I like it the most when I stroll around while chatting at night.
and for AeonMall, It is a mall that contains Japanese food, drinks and everything that comes from Japan. Moreover, their sushi and matcha ice cream are very delicious.
