justified acquittal or not . In Belgium, a grandfather has been acquitted of abuse with his granddaughter. The judges believed the 4-year-old girl, but because he was taking Parkinson's medication he was declared incompetent. the reason: his medication made him hypersexual. this is a difficult topic... what is your opinion on this... do you agree that he should be acquitted?
No. I doubt there is any medication that people can get prescribed, if it would make them... Totally out of control? Uh... It's ... Judges are not authorities anymore, after what I read here or there about some cases. Sad.

That's out of what I can give an opinion on, by far. If doctors said he was incompetent, then I can't say anything about it and justice does what it has to do with it. The only thing I know is that I would never have any link with a member of my family that does something like that to my child.
i dont quit understand: do you mean that the father has been judged for sex with his 4 years old daughter? ore im i wrong?
Right. What exactly "abuse" means here. Altough, if in the context here is said he was under "hypersexual" infuelnce of some medicine, maybe that's it.
As I am not a criminal lawyer and I have not been privy to the proceedings, I do not consider myself qualified to render any judgment of "right or wrong" in this specific case without further examination (even of just mere facts alone). It is a perilous method to rely on a newspaper headline (and brief summary) to pass a conclusive judgment. These court decisions should be public. First read the full judgment in order to reach a well informed private decision.
If you do not wish to do so, it may be inappropriate to blindly follow the headline and consider judges as living aliens.

Here an opinion was asked and we responded. It is important to keep the light on the problem of harassment and violence against children
