    Description:

You may call me Marc, its not my actual name, but its how people around call me, and I'm fine with it. Even though my parents, passport, family and mother tongue are Dutch, I don't believe myself I'm Dutch. I have never lived in the Netherlands, I'm not born there, I have never spent long time there. I've been there mostly for my grandmother, since she past away years ago, I haven't been to the Netherlands anymore. I am born in France, and have lived there for a long time. But neither do I feel French. In total I have lived in four countries, France, Portugal, Romania and Spain, and I have visited 18 countries. I don't feel like I belong anywhere, and that's actually a nice, free feeling. I simply feel like I don't belong anywhere, and my mother tongue to be English, a nice feeling. I have been homeschooled my entire life, and quite much enjoyed it. I've traveled a lot, and have experienced a lot, have had a lot of adventures. I'd like to keep on going like this.

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    • Spain: nice nature, friendly people, beautyful language, rich culture. A lot of elder Spaniards still work the land the traditional way.
    • France: nice nature, delicious cheese and flavour products, in the summer a lot of local markets with fruits and vegetables, and others with second hamd items.
    • Portugal: not very nice nature, but very friendly and openhearted people.
    • Romania: nice nature, beautyful language, nice people, the Romanians also have a very rich culture: 90/95% of the Romanians still drive with horse and wagon as only vehicle, and they're proud of it. A lot of much - used roads in Romania are still unasfaltated. Romanians have a beautyful way of decorating their houses and gates.
    • Bulgaria: nice people, nice nature, for the rest not fantastic.
    • Bosnia: beautyful nature, but the people threat you like you're a monkey.
    • Italy: beautyful light, nice nature, delicious foods, great cars, nice language, the police are rather assholes. We've also been to Venice, which was very nice.
    • Austria: can't remember.
    • Sweden: same.
    • Denmark: same.
    • Germany: same.
    • Belgium: same.
    • Luxembourg: same.
    • Czechia: same.
    • Netherlands: my grandmother lived there. Never been there much, since my grandmother died, I haven't been there anymore.
    • Serbia: been there to change the windbraker of our van.
    • Slovenia: knly drove trough.
    • Croatia: been there to let our Romanian van get repaired. I absolutely reccomend trying out the small garages in the mountains, and not the big ones jn the city.
