  • My proudest accomplishments

    I have a B.A. in English, focusing on print journalism. I'm a freelance writer in Savannah, GA with published works online as well as in local magazines and newspapers.

    I also work at our local Harley-Davidson dealership, where I've learned so much about motorcycles. I ride with my boyfriend right now but will be learning to ride on my own soon.

  • Personal skills

    I love cooking and baking. I've dabbled in coding and web design. I also enjoy art, both as a viewer and a maker. Museums and galleries are some of my favorite places to visit. I like to paint and create things, from candles to jewelry and other crafts.

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    I grew up in Alabama and Georgia. After university, I lived in Florida for a few years before returning to Georgia.

    My favorite places that I've visited are New York City, Chichen Itza, and Orlando, FL.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    Horror movies are my jam. I love anything spooky, creepy, or just weird. My favorite directors are Tim Burton and Quentin Tarantino.
    I also love fantasy and science fiction in books and films. I'm currently reading Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind (the first book in the Sword of Truth series) after a friend gave it to me for Christmas.
    Classic literature is always a go-to for me. I love Mark Twain, William Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, and more!

  • I always enjoy talking about...

    My friends have called me a "jukebox" for as long as I can remember. I love music and will pop out a random song lyric or trivia byte in the middle of a conversation. Concerts are my life force!

  • My interests in other cultures

    I love to travel, study history, and visit museums. I consider myself to be very open-minded. Learning about other cultures is essential to understanding one another.

  • Life regrets

    I regret not doing more language studies in school. I've always thought it would be fun to work in linguistics but thought it was out of my reach. Now I spend much of my free time trying to make up for lost opportunities.

  • Childhood pleasures

    As a kid, I was very social but tended to spend much of my time reading, studying, and exploring.

  • Something uncommon about me

    I have sectoral heterochromia; My eyes are blue with brownish-gold sections.
    My style is quirky and I love to wear bold hairstyles in bright colors.

  • Over or underrated

    Simple kindness is underrated. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, you know!

  • Something to tell the world!

    I'd love to find a pen pal to practice my Spanish, and maybe later my Russian, once I speak a little better.
