πŸ•°οΈπŸŒž What happened today? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€“ Anything and everything

Today is 15 October and I found online that this happened today in the past:

1️⃣ On this day in 1993 Nelson Mandela and Frederik de Klerk became the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize because they helped ending the apartheid in South Africa. I think they deserved the Prize but what do you think?

2️⃣ In 1917 the Dutch dancer Mata Hari was executed in France because the government thought she was spying for Germany during World War I but a lot of people think that she was not guilty. What do people in your country believe?

3️⃣ Born on this day were Vergilius a Roman poet who wrote AenΔ“Μ†is (70 BCE) and Friedrich Nietzsche who was a philosopher from Germany (1844). Did anybody read books from them?

Vergilius ?!

OMG I KNOW HIM and also AENEAIS!

@Pennarossa2024 and @Simone724 and @Clementine_cat, do you maybe have to read from Vergilius at school in Italy because he was a Roman poet or do you know about him?

I haven't studied Virgil at school (for some reasons the school program was based especially on "The Betrothed" by Alessandro Manzoni and "Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri), but i studied Homer's poems despite he was greek πŸ€”
