But you are right so it is time to sleeeeep!!!! Good night everybody have a nice night!!!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ฅฑ๐ฅฑ๐ด๐ด๐ด
PS:: one time Chris also told me on the forum to go to sleep!! ๐ PPG is fun on the forum in evening but is dangerous for not enough sleep! ๐
Today is 16 October and this happened in the past on this day:
1๏ธโฃ In 1793 on this day Marie-Antoinette who was the wife of king Louis XVI was executed under the guillotine in the French Revolution. @Etienne, @Lianshen and @Sabri_KC: there was before a news about the four republics. But the first republic was after Napoleon right because he became an emperor so that was not really a republic.
2๏ธโฃ Karol Jรณzef Wojtyลa of Poland became pope on this day in 1978. He was the first pope from outside Italy in 455 years and he took the name John Paul II. It said online the first non-Italian pontiff, but I think pontiff means pope.
3๏ธโฃ On this day in 1916 Margaret Sanger opened the first American birth control clinic in Brooklyn in New York.
4๏ธโฃ In 1846 William Thomas Green Morton first demonstrated using ether as a general anesthetic before a gathering of physicians at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Maybe this is nice for you to know @Till_Beatus, @suppo and @ChengYZ because you work in hospital or study medicine right? ๐
Btw there is a very nice website and you can check the news of that day in the past. So the most I get from that website. Some people asked about it so that is why! ๐
Today my eyedoctore 77years is founding dead in here swimmingpool ๐ฅบ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐จ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฎ
2๏ธโฃ In 1946 the constitution of the Fourth Republic was adopted in France in a referendum. I copied that from online but is the Fourth Republic the same as France now? Because France is now also a republic and it was not attacked anymore after the second world war. I hope that @Etienne, @Sabri_KC and @Lianshen maybe know about it.I'm not quite sure, but the switch from IV to V in Republic is essentially changing the Constitution, hence the "regime" or way France is governed. 5th Republic thus is a Republic made for De Gaulle in 1958 like mentionned earlier, but what it changes in France is mainly giving more power to the President and ministers (Prime Minister being their leader) as well as relative "stability" etc.
HAHA I literally studied that in my university !!! Do you read in minds Yue ???What do you do at university to study this kind of things?

I actually consider it as one of the biggest scam of history/French history ๐1๏ธโฃ In 1793 on this day Marie-Antoinette who was the wife of king Louis XVI was executed under the guillotine in the French Revolution. @Etienne, @Lianshen and @Sabri_KC: there was before a news about the four republics. It's true that the first Republic is a little bit special though, as there was no president at that time, and especially not at the begining.

That being said, the first Republic starts after the Revolution (I think they kept Absolute monarchy for a few years, switched to Constitutional monarchy which was turned into a Republic after the "betrayal" of Louis XVI) until Napolรฉon took the power. It's worth to note that Napolรฉon was also ruling under the first Republic as the first consul (during the Consulate).
After Napolรฉon, France got the "Restauration", where the Moanrchy was instaured back with Louis XVIII. The second Republic "starts" (and end) with Napolรฉon III ๐It's true that the first Republic is a little bit special though, as there was no president at that time, and especially not at the begining.
