No far all of them.
β‘οΈ Animal testing should be banned.
- Animal testing is important to understand many things on behavioural and physiological aspect, and it's less bad, but also more affordable, to test on rats and other species than your conspecifics. Without animal testing, no Pasteur and rabbies vaccine for example.
β‘οΈ Guns and other weapons should be banned (unless you are a soldier or in the police).
- Banning guns is not a bann on guns, but a bann on honest gun owners. This is a massive difference to take in consideration. In France, you can find almost anything in some streets if you know who to ask for, even in the "small" city I come from. More than that, the problem is not to possess one or another item, but how do you use it.
If you take some factors in consideration and don't just look at the US where almost anyone can own a weapon, then gun possessions is nowhere like a huge problem. Beside, look at Switzerland or Norway; who would say those are terrible countries? Now look at Eritrea or Somalia and tell me which of the former or second countries you would think as safer. Can you then say that (legal) gun ownership is the biggest issue there?
β‘οΈ You ONLY have to follow sexual education in schools if you want to
be in the class and are ready for it (so not in the first two years
mandatory).
- You get to have some sexual education at a point or another to avoid some problems like STDs. If you make it "when you are ready", then some will never be ready either for religious beliefs/parents pushing behind or other reasons. It probably shouldn't be as near as what it is recently (at least the crazy things medias are telling us), but it should still be a topic adressed with sensibility and responsibility to avoid having a 14 years old coming home with a bad surprise.
