1. Torakka means cockroach in Finnish and it isnt that special to me I just like how it symbolises resiliance and survival and i like that.

2. My real name is Kerttu it means valiant, spears Power and powerful with a spear. I think its german since its old german name but Kerttu is just a finnish version known since 1200

3. No i would not. Never. Some old Finnish name I like those.

4. Not really.

5. Something not human I dont wanna call my dog and some child appears. Good names like Taika, Tuisku, Vili and Tapsa.

1. Let's see...my user is AN3TT3 which ofc means Anette but I have a nickname my parents call me which is Netty. I really found it cute so I decided to go with that, it's pretty special to me because my mom chose that silly but cute nickname for me, and she called me that nickname a lot when I was little and she still calls me Netty to this day haha!

2. The name Anette means "grace" or "favor", which is rooted in Hebrew but then spread through french Scandinavian cultures.

I chose my username because I wanted something generic but original at the same time, so my mother suggested my username and I decided to use it.

My name means light (in Hebrew).

I wouldn't change my name, I think it's a meaningful gift from my parents. Although I've always thought Serena was a pretty name, I wouldn't want to be called that since I speak French at home and that name sounds wrong in French. Maybe Lily, it's a cute name that can be translated in many languages.

4️⃣ Do you think the name is important of your partner if you have a relationship now or in the future?

Not really, as long as I can pronounce it.

5️⃣ What do you think is a nice name for a pet?

Pets can have any name, but I prefer giving them movies/books references, human names or titles (for example my female cat is named Malka, which means 'Queen' in Hebrew and it suits her very well).

I've often seen online (as a joke) that people with names starting with J were red flags, but I never understood why and I think it doesn't mean anything. I don't believe names can be red flags, only the people wearing them, and you can't really tell if someone's a red flag or not simply from their name.

1. My name on here is the nickname my parents call me just with an x instead of a s. My friend used her nickname as well so i just chose to follow along and do the same as using my real name would be a bit weird in English😅

2. My real name is Vibe which is the danish name for a northern lapwing! But it's a weird name in english cause of the meaning in english...

Yes, my name Vigga is a Nordic/German that means "war" or "battle. As well as it being the female version of the name Viggo (whom my cousin is called as well)

1. I chose this name as I got this nickname from my friends on other penpal sites and the numbers represent my birth year😅😅😅

2. My real name, 'Roopkatha' means a 'Fairytale'...it's a bengali word.

It means moon in mandarin Chinese and what i like is that in for example Dutch some persons have the name Maan and it means moon and in Italian for example Luna means also moon. So in a lot of languages my name is maybe NOTTTT so strange that ppl maybe think.

No bc sometimes if ur from China than u can also have like an English name and u just choose it urself. But i dont want that bc my parents ANDDDD smb else decided the name. And if i choose smt else i think it is not respectful for them also if is only for example English name so ppl know better how to say it.

I wanted to say just no. BUTTT i read what others wrote and i think maybe it is nicer if it is not a name that others have that u know really well and it is confusing or strange. But not many ppl in Netherlands have the same name as my father or uncle or others from family or friends.

My name is Ram, but that name was already taken. After thinking about it for a long time while watching SpongeBob, I came up with the name Rambob.

2. Maori Lin , its Japanese and it means smth like guardian/truth

5. my cat is called Totoro and i think Michael is a nice name for a dog or cat so that will be my next cat or dogs name

6. Red flag? for names😭 4 yrs ago I meet this 11 year old boy on my favourite skilift and he was named RAINER😭 like that is an old man name , my GRANDPA is named Rainer😭 it doesn’t fit for a boy

7. My mom chose it 100% and it was at a very japanese point in her life

She was in Japan for many many years so ig that influenced her

My dad agreed on my name, thinking it was like connected to the native people of new zealand (Maori) but like YEARS LATER he found out that it was a japanese name😭

Anyways my experience so far with this name wasn’t great cuz the boys in my old class googled my name and stuff and then they found like those traditional dances like (Haka dance) anf stuff and they always danced it whenever i entered the classroom

and some people said to me i should go back into the jungle when i was 10 or so years old😭

and many people mispronounced it, my neighbor is dyslexic and calls me : Amori😭😭

my other bro can’t pronounce „r“ so he calls me: Maoli

and more like: Amari, Mori, Mari, Miri, Maui 😭

Lianshen is a nickname I made in a game years ago. Well, it's supposed to be Liánshén, or 蓮神. It's mainly a made up name because I like chinese and it was fitting my character and interests.

2️⃣ Does your real name have a meaning? And if yes what does it mean and in what language?

It comes from ancient Rome, so it does have a meaning, but it's a bit annoying in my opinion and my family didn't use it with any intended meaning 🙂

4️⃣ Do you think the name is important of your partner if you have a relationship now or in the future?

Family names at least can be changed fairly easily over time, and names sometimes as well under some conditions. I don't think that should be a problem even if it was a source of concern to start with

5️⃣ What do you think is a nice name for a pet?

The most given male/female name of the year to create extra confusion for people around you.

For a real name? Something made up or rewritten in a special way to be "original". It often means insufferable parents...

1. In the beginning my name was selected to be Nishu, but my mother changed it. It doesn't mean much, my family has even long forgot itttttt 😭😭, But because I loveeee it soooooo muchhhhh so I picked it up 🥹✨!!!

2. Yessss!! My real name is Nidhi!! And it means "Treasure of everything import to a human being". But mainly goes as just Treasure!! I lovee the meaninggg!! 💖✨

3. I think nottt... 🥀. I think it would be "ARUNI" as it sounds better in Hindi/Sanskrit!!!

4. I don't know to be honest but I hate when someone messes my name up while trying tot make a cute nickname that only they know abouttt 😭😭😭, but I absolutely loveeeee nicknames, most of friends call me "MI CORAZON" because it's a term the singer uses in my fave song "ME GUSTAS TU" 💖🥹✨.

5. I don't knowww, I generally choose cool sounding names 😋!!!
