  Journey Back Home

  
  A few years ago, I took a trip to Scandinavia in my GT. I was following a dream/desire that I had carried within me since my early childhood. It was summer, shortly before my birthday, and high up in the north
  I was able to watch the midnight sun. On the way, 11,300 kilometres in 10 days, I experienced incredible things. Today, in retrospect, I understand that this journey irrevocably changed my way of perceiving the world … and myself. It took almost a decade to bring this fact into a reasonably harmonious balance.

  In those days, I travelled a lot and took sand from the most beautiful beaches on the European coastline with me as souvenirs. It was an exciting time with ambivalent experiences for me. Travelling around the world alone confronted me with my insecurity. However, the universe helped... at times, by putting people in my path who were very kind to me and carried me through difficult situations.

  On one of my tours, I met a group of women. Like me, they were on ‘holiday’ and travelling in two coaches, WITHOUT MEN, for several weeks. They were, women between the ages of 20 and 40 who had known each other for quite a while and pursued ‘Modern Dancing’ in their standard daily routine.
