And the B? What does it stand for?? I always wanted to ask but I kept forgettinggggg 😭😭
It's my surname Baker.
1️⃣ Actually, my username has two special meanings. 'Stella' means 'star' in Latin, and '1004' represents 'angel' through a wordplay using both Japanese and Korean numbers.
2️⃣ My name, 'Tomoyo' consists of 'Tomo' (knowledge/wisdom) and 'yo' (generation/era) in Japanese.
3️⃣ I like my name, so I wouldn’t change it. However, if I had to choose, I sometimes admire name that is easy to pronounce internationally, like 'Reina' as it sound so gorgeous and elegant."
4️⃣ I think the person's personality and the overall 'vibe' are more important than the name itself.
5️⃣ I love short, easy-to-call names! Something warm like 'Chacha' or 'Sakura' or 'Mimi' sounds adorable, especially if it matches their color or personality.
➡️ In Japan, we have a cultural practice called 'Seimei-handan' (name divination), where we look at the stroke count of the kanji to determine if a name is lucky or 'unlucky' (kyosu). Personally, I don't obsess over it, but I suppose a name that is widely considered to have a 'cursed' or very unlucky stroke count could be seen as a red flag for some. It’s more about the negative energy or the bad luck people associate with it rather than the name itself.
➡️ My parents chose my name together. 🙂
