Hello everybody!! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ I have a question and I hope that people can write what they think about it:

โžก๏ธ Do you think that you can understand feelings even if you have not experienced things?

For example: can you know TRUE โค๏ธโค๏ธ even if you have never been in a relationship yet? Now i think everybody can quickly say NOOO and that you must first have had a boyfriend or a girlfriend before or you dont know anything about it. But is that REALLY true?? Because everybody also has feelings and i think you can also feel things and understand them even if you didnt do the same things before.

And another example: if you have never been in a car accident, I think that you still can understand things that a person would feel. Maybe not everything but i think you can understand more than other people maybe think.

What do you think about it? Or does it maybe depend on the feeling and emotion? ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

Thanks everybody who wants to answer the question. And have a very nice ๐ŸŒž-Day!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒป

It is actually possible to imagine love.

It is actually possible to imagine love.

I also think that. For example from friends and movies and you can think about it. Of course a series or movie is not the same as if you have a relationship yourself BUTTT you can live with the characters and understand how they feel i think. So maybe it is not completely the same i think most you can understand right.

Welcome back @TierM38

What do you think about the question @Fleurke? ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

I cant even understand my own feelings LOL

i seriously got a test that showed im social emotionallly (as in development) delayed (my social emotional mental age is guessed around 7,8)

Hello @Yue_ of course we can feel love efen we dont gave a relationship. Becomming a mother off 3 children i was falling in love before seeing them . And the other question i dont untherstand it๐Ÿซฃ

But if you understand your own feelings more each time that is good right? And i think they can also be feelings about things that you think about but maybe not yet done things or experienced them.

I think the example you gave is super good bc you can love your children BEFORE they were born right? I think that is what you mean and i believe that is true immediately!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Anny and everyone else,

This is a really good question, asked by Anny. I would like to share my answer to it.

It is a complicated question to answer. Humans can experience a wide range of emotions, one of which is love. But do we truly know what love means and what it is? That is the key question. If someone who has never experienced love can still understand what love is, then they might be able to say, "I can feel your pain, rage, happiness, etc., in the context of love."

Now, letโ€™s consider a different scenario. Suppose someone loses a family memberโ€”letโ€™s say my friendโ€™s mother passes away. Even though I have never experienced the loss of a loved one, such as a mother, I might still say, "I understand how much pain you are feeling." I believe I would be able to relate to that pain more than to the happiness of love, which I have never felt.

In my personal opinion, it always depends on the situation, the people involved, and many other factors..

there are feelings that if you have not lived directly you can imagine to understand how they are but they are not the same thing as having felt them. Feelings are lived according to oneself. Love has different forms: you can love a boy or a girl, your family, your children, your wife, an animal, your job; basically, however, everyone loves in their own way.

Yes you can. The term is called โ€œcomprehensive understanding.โ€

I really liked reading back what people wrote in this forum and i forgot to really thank also @Fleurke, Mulanyyy @Esma-Nur, @albertone58 and @diogenes_cask!!! What you wrote also made me think about something. Because Christine @H_E_A_R_T said in one of the art forums that an online picture of a painting is not the same as the original painting. So maybe it is the same with feelings and emotions i think now.

BUTTT that does not mean that you cant feel things in a way that other people feel them. Like for example the things that @Esma-Nur said if something like that happens i can understand how somebody must feel. I think that is also what @diogenes_cask means. But it may not be EXACTLY the same how the people feel the emotions who have for example REALLY been in love or REALLY lost somebody who died. So i think that is the understanding that @diogenes_cask means but it can maybe only be the same if you also experience it.

That is what i thought about after thinking about the paintings. You can really enjoy art if you see it online or in a photo book. But if you see it in a museum it will always be more special. But you can still enjoy it before going to the museum!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope everybody gets what i am trying to say even if it is super confusing!!! ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜›

When you look at the Hawkins Scale there are different levels of consciousness.
As I understand it everyone below the state of Enlightment has his very unique
mix of emotions and everybody who wants to understand or sense the feelings
of another person and is also below the state of Enlightment is overshadowed
by his own mix of emotions and conceptions.
I also think every situation is unique and the same person experiences different
emotion mixes in every new situation/moment.
