Thanksss @Torakka and happy independence day for you and @Borboletagirl if that is today in your country! 🙂

And i could not even translate what you wrote: Airplane jet turbine engine auxiliary mechanic non-commissioned officer student in Dutch bc some parts i have no idea even what they mean in English like auxiliary and non-commissioned so that is a bit difficult to translate!!! 😛 😛

Hello everybody!! 😊😊 Let's make a language lists and if you want to add a word or sentence to the list you can just let it know below and we get it translated!!! And it is much more funny this way than with google translate or language app. So how do you say these things in your language:

4️⃣ That is really funny!!

5️⃣ Cool!!! (But say it in way how you would say it in your language)

6️⃣ I love you!!!

7️⃣ What are your hobbies?

8️⃣ Do you like bubble tea?

9️⃣ I hope maybe we can meet soon!!!

🔟 (Can you write a really funny and cool word in your language under 10 and maybe explain what it means?)

1️⃣1️⃣ New sentence from @vtt3613: I am sorry, I can't speak (put your language here). Can you speak English?

➡️ Is there something else that i should put in the language list and everybody can translate?

    Tack very much @ChibuTea!!! 😊😊 I added it also above in the list!! 🙂 I think that it looks that it is difficult to speak Swedish but with some i think it is perhaps not SUPER different from Dutch except if there are signs above some letters. But others look bit like German and Dutch is a bit like German too!! But maybe i am wrong.

    And @Idkbro lives in Sweden but is from Italy and if i can remember she said that Swedish is also difficult language. But i dont know if i remember that correctly!

    Ahahah, Im not sure actually! I don’t think it’s that difficult, but I’m very biased since Swedish is my native language… lol

    We have 3 extra characters that English doesn’t have, which is Å, Ä and Ö. I don’t know if you already know how to pronounce them, but I will try to explain to everyone who would like to know!

    Å = like the ”o” in ”or”

    Ä = like the ”eah” in ”yeah”

    Ö = like the ”u” in ”nurse”

    We have some words that I’ve heard is difficult to pronounce if Swedish isn’t your first language. Like ”sjuksköterska” for example. I won’t be able to describe how it sounds so please use google translate to listen to the word 😭🙏

    anyways, I also think Swedish and German is pretty similar! I studied German in elementary school for 4 years and I would say that German is like a mix of English and Swedish 🇸🇪.

    You really think so? There are some words in german they have in England or Russia, too. But in Sweden?

    Its not. Finnish is really simple. Unlike swedish where you have exception of exception when when inflecting words

    Thanksss very much @ChibuTea ☺️☺️ Sorry that i reply super late but it was REALLLYYY busy the last 3 days bc the rest of the week in school is most abt Christmas and project but not regular classes anymore.

    I thought was really funny what you write with @Torakka abt Swedish and Finnish and i think i cant say ANYTHING bc Dutch is also super difficult and my language from my parents is mainland Chinese so that is for European ppl very difficult too!!! And even when we speak it a lot at home, my dad says i still make 8921712 mistakes every time. So maybe Swedish and Finnish are not the most difficult languages but Dutch and Chinese can be!!! 😛 😛

    And @Wolkenpaule i think at least a lot of words that @ChibuTea wrote are like Dutch and also German i guess. Like for example: Det like dat in Dutch, du like you in German, pratar like praten in Dutch, riktigt like richtig in German (i dont remember if i write this correctly but i remember it), cool like cool in ANY language bc it is English and the same for hobbys and boba tea and för is i think like für in German and voor in Dutch. But if im honest the rest is VERY different!!! 😃 So both similar and different. 🙂

    Ahahahah but omg that’s still so cool that you can speak Chinese aswell! Yes, I think objectively that Chinese might be the hardest language…my bestfriend speak it at home and she always tells me how ridiculously difficult it is🙏

    And yes you put words in what I wanted to say! Thank you! When I learned German in school I felt like there where many similar words and it made me pick up understanding for the language much quicker I think. How similar is Dutch and German?

    In our school sometimes others ask like if you write Chinese do you have super big keyboard bc there are a LOTTTTTTT of characters but you can just type how you say it and select character or you can draw with your finger and it comes on the screen. But i still make a lot of mistakes and i think sometimes it is embarrassing if we are for example with family in Nanjing. But they just laugh if i say smt really stupid and wrong.

    And in Dutch we sometimes make a joke that we can understand German ppl BUTTT they cant understand us. Or at least not so easy in the same way!!! BUTTTT i know @Piwipete can also speak Dutch and @Colin_Der_Backfisch has a lot of times been in The Netherlands and i taught him super important Dutch stuff as well!!! 😛 😛 And i dont know abt others like @Txya, @H_E_A_R_T, @HappyvomSee, @nikikat_03 and @Wolkenpaule if they can understand Dutch super easily. 🙄🙄🙄

    @Yue_

    You are right. It is not easy for a german to understand dutch. But at least I understand a lot if I read dutch. Not every single word but the meaning basically yes. There is a dutch word ("het") which sense I don`t really get, because it it often used in different contexts. Maybe you can help out....
