1️⃣ When is the last time somebody said something really nice to you and you did not expect it?

I get compliments on my clothes pretty often at school, but I really didn't expect my teachers to talk about it as well. So I was very happy when my physics teacher said my dress was nice 🙂

2️⃣ Did you ever get a card or note that you still have and love a LOTTTT?

I keep all the cards I get since a few years, but I don't know if there is one in particular that I like more than the rest.

3️⃣ If your best friend comes to your house today: what would you like to do together for the day?

My grandparents are coming over today, actually. But if they weren't coming, and if my best friends was coming, we could go to a small shop or a library or whatever she wants to do.

4️⃣ If you could give a small gift to somebody you know, what would you give and who is it?

Food is the best gift to give; it doesn't take much space, and even if it does it doesn't take up space for too long, it's good, and everyone needs food. I would maybe gift my mother her favourite candy, since it was her birthday not too long ago.

5️⃣ Is there anybody who you have lost contact that you would like to call for an hour and meet again soon?

There's a lot of people that I've lost contact with, mostly people from school, but I wouldn't want to call them again. It would be awkward after so much time, and they've probably changed so much that I wouldn't even recognize them.

6️⃣ How do you say in your language: have a day? And is it normal in your country to give a hug or hand or wave if you meet friends?

Have a nice day in French is: 'Passe une bonne journée' OR 'Passez une bonne journée'(the second is the more polite form, usually said to older people, people more powerful, or just when you want to be polite to someone you don't know/don't know well)

In my country, pretty much anything can be a greeting. It only depends on what you and the other person are comfortable with. Sometimes it's a hug, sometimes it's a wave, sometimes a handshake, and in my case it's a nod of acknowledgement(which I'm pretty sure goes unnoticed by most people but whatever).

One day I met with a teacher and they told me that my friends were talking nice about me 🙂 Usually my friends don’t compliment me when I’m here, so it was really nice to hear this ☺️

Yes !! A friend gifted it for my birthday ! 🎂

Maybe bring him something to eat/drink, watch television together or play games

Maybe A little flower for my mother 🥰

Maybe my host family in Germany when I travelled there with school, they were absolutely nice ! 😊

You mean "Have a great day" ?

In French we say "Passe une bonne journée", and in Arabic (Algerian dialect) we say "نهارك ببرو" (Nharek mabrouk) which means "may your day be blessed".

In France or in Algeria when meeting with friends, people tend to shake hands or made a hand check. Hugs are less common but people do hug when they didn’t see each other for a long time.

Personally I would love hugging all the time 🙂 I love hugs so much that I could make a hug that lasts 10 minutes and still don’t feel filled 😅 People usually say that it’s because I didn’t receive enough hugs when I was little, but it is the WHOLE CONTRARY 😆 I was hugged so much during my childhood that I grew up loving hugs with everyone, family, friends, etc…

It was a few days ago when I was telling my friend I did not know how to interact with kids to save my life and she was like "no way, you're one of the sweetest people I know" and that caught me off guard

Yeah, I keep all the cards and notes I get, my favorites are a birthday card my best friend made, and a note where another friend wrote what my name would be in Japanese 😊

Um... I hope she'll do my makeup 🤣 I don't have any since my mom is strict about it, but I know my friend knows about that stuff.

Ohh yeah... there's a friend whom I haven't talked to since his birthday and I know I could email him at any time but I don't know if he even still wants to talk to me. It's not like we had an argument or anything but we just kinda grew apart and I don't know if he's still interested in being friends.

There's also another friend I really miss ever since she switched schools and I haven't talked to her since, she was really sweet to me and every time I think about her I kinda beat myself up over not appreciating her enough back then, why was I not nicer 😭

My language is English so just .... "have a nice day?" and I know plenty of people do hug, but I prefer to just wave

And @PinkiePie it is really cool that you wear that i dont think i would be so brave bc if others can have a lot of opinions than i dont think i would be really comfortable. But i like that you dont mind it and just be brave!!! ANDDD maybe it is nice to make a language forum bc it is fun to see how you say have a nice day in Belarus, America, Belgium, France, Germany and Canada!!! Maybe we can make a fun list with sentences and we can try to get it translated in a lot of languages of PPG. 😃

These are my answers of the questions:

1️⃣ When is the last time somebody said something really nice to you and you did not expect it?

Several times last week and some were super direct like for example my friend who gave a compliment bc i gave her a mini note which i do a lot but she said that she really liked it and that she kept it in a special box in her room for things she wants to keep. I like making really mini notes and you write super small on it and just give it to a friend and say that you made a letter for her and than you give a note of like 3 cm to 3 cm and you have to really look carefully to read it!! 😛 😛 And my dad gave a compliment but in his way abt grades i got back bc normally he only says what can be done better EVEN if grades are good. But now he said i did well without saying i can maybe do even better on some mistakes i made.

2️⃣ Did you ever get a card or note that you still have and love a LOTTTT?

Yes several times from friends. And in the past i used to get letters from my grandmother in China when she could still write herself. I kept everything and still read them sometimes.

3️⃣ If your best friend comes to your house today: what would you like to do together for the day?

I think maybe make jasmin or mint tea and TALKKK a LOTTTT!!!!! She likes that and i like that too and even if we see each other every day we can still talk more than normal people can hear!!! 😃

I would give a super nice gift back to @Fleurke and maybe it would be a necklace with a sun coming through a cloud!!! Bc she has made the weather forum but also if there is a cloud she is like the 🌞 that comes through the cloud!!! 🙂

Yes but now the most i would like to be again in contact with somebody i met in ballet workshop and she was REALLY nice and also super patient and good. And she helped a lot but we also talked a lot during the breaks bc i was not really comfortable in the beginning and i did not know most others but she came to me and started talking and that was really nice.

We say in Dutch: Fijne dag!!! And in my country older people normally give three kisses on the cheek and not two. BUTTTT at for example school that is weird. So we wave or hug and both are good. But if you hug than it is just a friend hug and i dont like a hug where they squeeze you like a squishy!!!! 😬😬
