i'm from india and creeps are everywhere here not those cool modern fellas but true creeps those do illegal things, and i dont have a very good experience with them when i was in school somethings happened to somethings which I cant say out loud, and on online i still afraid to use any kind of social media due to this
I think what everybody saying is interesting but also that here on PPG is not so big issue. Bc for example i only had one time that if was not safe but @Etienne already blocked that person. And everybody can decide the settings or block or report like for example @Jabmax said. And if adults dont write on the forum when we have super serious stuff or just funny forums i think that the forum would be almost like dead. And same with interviews for example and other things. So i think most feel really safe and if smt is wrong you can always say it. And almost everybody from the forum i also can chat with private and it is nice and super funny often!! 😛😛
I think if you don't feel comfortable with someone you can stop talking with them. In real life, you don't have to force yourself to hang out with someone you don't like. It's the same online, you don't have to force yourself to chat with someone if you feel something's wrong.
But @Idkbro I think it's not safe to send pictures to people met online when the ask you to because you never what they're going to do with that picture (a selfie is enough for an AI to create an account on a site pretending it's human). And it's easy to modify a picture so even when they send you a selfie it may not be their real face.

well no,it depends. it's safe with some friends that you know, but not with other people. there is no need to generalize i think

I think he's writing in general meanings. Your friends too, for joke maybe, or if someone steals their data, could be leak your personal pictures. Today I think we should be really careful with everything we let circulate online, even when it seems safe. They are some wise words by a old man online from 1996, but I know everyone needs to learn on its own skin.
i understand your concern @frozenpizza001 It's great that you already knows your boundaries and what you experience is a normal reaction as someone accidentally crossing your boundaries.
even me as an adult, i still experience some uncomfortable act from several guys in here, and always, the first thing they do is call me things like "beautiful girl" "honey" "darling" which i know they are trying to flirt, and always, it ends up they harass me or degraded me when i explained that i don't like and i feel uncomfortable. (some of guys couldn't stand of rejection which is so pathetic)
several guys also pro at manipulating conversations so that the conversation leads to 21+ which I don't really comfortable.
my tips, always stay alert and be careful, never give your number and never move to outside PPG to have convo. cause if they really see you as friend, they would choose to stay here and wouldn't force you to do something you don't want.
