Hello everybody! 😊😊 Yesterday was a SPECIAL day bc it was National Father Daughter Take a Walk Day!!! Here is more about it: https://nationaltoday.com/national-father-daughter-take-walk-day/ and i wrote about it in the forum with today facts! 🙂

Now my dad does not really like walking UNLESS we go to a nice restaurant or he walks to his CAR!!!!! 🤭🤭🤪😝 But i think that they day is more about being together with your dad!!! 🥰🥰 I think that is really beautiful and sweet!!! ❤️❤️🧸🧸🌸🌸

So lets maybe talk about DADS!!!!! I made some questions and i hope that maybe some people who read this forum like them and want to answer them. 🙏🙏

Questions:

1️⃣ Are you much like your dad? If you are a guy maybe how you look? Or for anybody: how you are?

2️⃣ What is the nicest thing that your dad did for you that you will always remember?

3️⃣ If you can get a gift now for your dad, what would you get?

4️⃣ If you can plan the most special day for your dad what HE likes, what would you do?

5️⃣ Are there maybe things that your dad must change (for example health or working too much)?

6️⃣ Does your dad have a life motto? And what is he like?

7️⃣ What would you like to tell your dad if you have chance to walk or sit with him alone (and maybe you NEVER said it yet)?

I hope I can be more like my father because he's awesome. He can repair almost anything, and I wish he could teach me some of his knowledge because it looks very useful. We are not that similar right now, but I do my best to make him proud.

2️⃣ What is the nicest thing that your dad did for you that you will always remember?

He's done a lot of things, but I think the best thing he and my mother did for me is paying for my stuff. I'm broke, so I'm glad I can still live decently. I don't know what I would do without my parents, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a very happy lifestyle.

3️⃣ If you can get a gift now for your dad, what would you get?

If I had enough money to buy him ANYTHING he wants, I would probably buy a piece of land where he can put all his cars. He has wayyyy too many, and less than half of them actually work...😅

4️⃣ If you can plan the most special day for your dad what HE likes, what would you do?

I think he would like to go see a rally in the desert, but I'm not sure. I would have to ask him so he can choose the activity(or activities) himself.

5️⃣ Are there maybe things that your dad must change (for example health or working too much)?

YES. His back hurts him and he keeps lifting heavy stuff and working too hard! He needs to learn to take a break. And he can also be easily irritated when we go traveling, which can be kind of annoying. I know he's stressed, but by being so obvious about it, it makes everyone else stressed too.

6️⃣ Does your dad have a life motto? And what is he like?

I don't know about a life motto. My father is kind of rough and stubborn, but he has a good heart. I know that even when he gets angry it's because he wants the best for the people he loves. He stands by what he believes and thinks by himself, which I find very admirable. He seems much more aware about the world than I am(it makes sense though, he's much older...) and it makes me both impressed and afraid that I won't be up for the task when my turn to make important decisions comes.

7️⃣ What would you like to tell your dad if you have chance to walk or sit with him alone (and maybe you NEVER said it yet)?

I would like to tell him how much I admire him, but at the same time I don't. I don't know how he would react, and I don't know how I would react either because I don't often have emotional moments with other people.

Do you mean how you look or how you are and think? 🙂 And i think your family is in one way same as from @Miss_Penpal bc you both have together enough cars like a whole garage!!! 🤭🤭😛

These are my answers:

In many ways my dad is OPPOSITE like me. He is just a little bit more than 2 times my weight!!!! And he is very loud with his voice and people say if i speak it is like a mouse. And he likes to be the host person if there are guests and he talks with everybody and is the leader from our family. So i am not like that AT ALL. But my dad is also super humble and he tries to make a really good effort to speak Dutch much more than other people who like him came to The Netherlands. And for example with Christmas or if our country plays football in a tournament he decorates our house with things like orange flags MOREEE than our neighbours bc he says we live here so we must support The Netherlands. But my mom jokes he supports shops bc he buys all that.

But even although he is confident he ALWAYS is humble with other people. In our family he is the leader but he is not arrogant or making use of that in the wrong way at all. In our family i do listen if he says something and that is ok because he does not abuse it and it is expected. What some of my friends say when their dad at home i get almost like a heart attack!!!! That is not at all how it works in my family. He is the boss but he is a super kind dad and is like a GIANT panda bear.

2️⃣ What is the nicest thing that your dad did for you that you will always remember?

If i get hurt in injury for example my dad is not really good with words and speaking to make me feel better, but he has other ways. For example, if something happened he goes to the store and buys strawberries for me because that is my favourite fruit and snack. And that is HIS way to help me and make me feel good. 😊😊❤️

3️⃣ If you can get a gift now for your dad, what would you get?

He would say food but i do not choose that. I would get a t-shirt from Red Bull and with on it a signature of Max Verstappen because he REALLY likes car racing and he watches everything on the tv (and if he misses he watches on his phone or watching it back).

4️⃣ If you can plan the most special day for your dad what HE likes, what would you do?

Racing in a car with Max Verstappen and after that eating dim sum or hotpot in a Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam that he likes the most (if there are guests from other countries we normally go to Sea Palace in Amsterdam that is a restaurant floating on the water) but we also have several restaurants that are the best on Zeedijk in Amsterdam. 🙂

5️⃣ Are there maybe things that your dad must change (for example health or working too much)?

He must eat less!!! My uncle makes jokes that my dad ate my twin sister (i do not have a twin). But my aunt says that my uncle is also too fat. But i think they eat too much (BOTTTH of them).

6️⃣ Does your dad have a life motto? And what is he like?

I dont know if really a motto but it would be about working really hard. That is the most important. For example he really wants that i do good in school and if i get for example an 8 as a result and 10 is maximum he says work harder and the next time you have a 9!!! But normally i get 8 or higher but he wants me to work HARDER and get a higher grade every time.

7️⃣ What would you like to tell your dad if you have chance to walk or sit with him alone (and maybe you NEVER said it yet)?

That i ❤️ him and that i will improve my Chinese so he is not embarrassed!!! That is a joke but i want to make it better. But the most important is that i want to say that he is a great dad and i could not wish anything better!!!! But we normally dont say things like that but i really want to. But maybe it would make him feel super uncomfortable but he knows how i feel. 🤗🌈🌞

8️⃣ Do you have tips for people who BECOME a dad? For example what you liked abt YOUR dad or granddad or husband if you are married perhaps.

I think the best tip is that you feel SAFE!!!!! I dont mean physical bc of course you must be safe that way. But i mean that if something is wrong that you know that your dad is always there EVENNN if he is super busy. And that you can trust him even if you are afraid that maybe you did something wrong or said something wrong. And that he helps you if you did something wrong and protects you and that you feel safe because he does that.
