1️⃣2️⃣I don’t really like to lead in a relationship, I have in the past and it just didn’t feel right for me. I prefer us to be equal. I used to always have to order at the bar and ask her for her opinion. I’d rather she just felt safe telling me. 🙂 It is kind of weird if a girl is more confident than you I am not the most confident myself and I do feel ashamed when being next to someone who is (guy or girl)

These are my answers for my list:

I am not really allowed to wear makeup but ONLYYY if there is smt really special like a wedding. BUTTT in that case not more than my mom bc it is not polite and good because you must not give wrong signals about yourself. And it is not good to ask for all the attention with makeup and for me i try to know in my culture my place and my mom says it is better being modest in my case. And at school i cannot wear make up but only maybe lip gloss but absolutely NOTTT every day. My dad says always that school is not for being a fashion model but you must learn and not distract from learning stuff.

And the answer is that with makeup you can make things nicer bc you give accents. So it is NOTTT like you become a painting. But you should make small accents that you like more clear or that you correct things with makeup. I hope that does not sound super weird but that is what for example i think and i know some of my friends too. 🙂

I think it depends. For example i know some times that girls THOUGHT that others gossiped about them. But it was not even true. And they hated the other girls and started gossips THEMSELVES. But that happens more often!!! And sometimes i think some others hate me bc i am looking Asian but i am Dutch. BUTTT they dont see it that way. It does not happen a lot at school but for example in other places i get often that people say racist things like jokes. But i think it is still racist but i just do like i dont hear it or they get maybe more angry about it. But it can also because of other things like somebody who is dating a guy and he is ex of somebody else. That happened in our school and it was really BIGGG drama. But i try staying away from it.

I wanted to say feeling really insecure sometimes about what people think of you. But i know that guys also think that. So i think maybe other things like for example one time a guy almost hit me with the car and i was on my bike. And it was NOTTT my mistake because he went with the car through the red light. But he got angry at me and he said that even if it is green you should still watch out if somebody comes super fast at you. And that way he said i made a mistake and not him. So i did not say anything at it but i just waited until he stepped in the car again and went away. I know it is super weak but i could not say anything. And i think for guys it is different bc they are bigger and stronger and they have different attitude. But i could not do that. But maybe other girls can do something about it.

This is a difficult question because i dont know. I think that other girls can be more beautiful and be smarter than me. So that is not the feature that sets me apart. And always somebody does stuff better in a way than i can. That is how i really feel. But i do like some things that maybe others think are super weird but i like it still. For example: i have mini letters and sometimes i give it to a friend and it says what i think for example about them as friend. And i tell them they have a letter and they get it like size of a stamp!!!!! But i try to make it nicely EVEN if it is small. And i pay attention for example if i fold clothes in my closet that it REALLY looks nice. Bc if you open your closet and it looks very nice than it makes me feel a lot better. I dont know why but it just does. And one thing that sets me apart maybe in a bad way is that i can be super sensitive about things and i can block bc of it. Like if i feel strong emotions about something or that i see things and others just forget about it and think it is not important. I know that i am high sensitive and that is NOTTT a disease but it can make stuff also very difficult sometimes. And if you get too many emotions i can block.

I think if i like a guy maybe that i would not say it really to my best friends bc I dont know what they would think about it. And i am afraid that if i say it and he would reject me if you have a date that i have to tell it to my friends and they can perhaps think it is weird or others can hear it and make jokes. That would make me feel really insecure and uncertain.

People gossip A LOTTTT. And sometimes they really keep gossiping about things and i hear it. And they say for example stuff about somebody else and judge it, but they do EXACTLY the same!!! I think that is not fair but i dont say it. And i also dont say it to my friends bc than it is also gossiping.

There are so many things guys like that i really dont understand why they like it. But it is also funny!!! For example a lot of guys like cars and i dont like them at all!!!! And also i dont understand why guys often act super cool and like they are almost like gangster. I dont like that at all. And also i dont understand why guys like a lot of other things like gaming, football, movies about wars and super violent and a lot of other things. BUTTTT i think they also think that of stuff we like for example kpop or drama series or nice things but they think it is weird. But i think it is nice that everybody likes different things and also the same things. ANDDD i think if you have relationship you should maybe try also to be respectful about what the other likes. That is very important!!!!

For me i think it is the MOSTTTT how he is as person. For me that is the most important. So for example that he is also patient and kind. And that he is not only acting cool and strong but can also be soft. And i hope that he likes me and is nice for me. That is for me much more important than how he looks.

For me it does not matter if he is from The Netherlands or China or another country. BUTTTT if you get married i want to live together. That is important. I know that some people can marry and live in different places and i think that is also cool if they like that. And i think everybody should respect that!!! BUTTT for me i would like to live together if he also wants that.

That men are taller!!!!! They can see everything and are at least taller than me but that is not really difficult!!! And that they are stronger and sometimes that is really good too. And i think for them it is easier to dress nicely bc they dont have to spend a lot of time on hair and how you look and the outfit is not so complicated. So that is a LOTTTT easier for guys even if they think NOTTT. 😛 😛

For me it is REALLY difficult to answer. For example i dont like to get out a computer and get it apart to understand how it works. BUTTTT i do really like for example chemistry at school EVEN if that makes me nerdy if people think it. Now it is not my favourite subject but i still like it. And another example is that as job i think about medicine researcher and that is about things and how they work ORRRRR being a journalist and that is about people or maybe about art bc that would be nice too. But art is both things and people. Because somebody made the art work. But personally in my life i like people more than things. So i like my family and friends a LOTTTTTTTT more than anything i have.

For me i like to be as my mom too later bc i REALLY also want to have kids later. But 2 not 1 because i think it is nicer if they have a brother or sister too and they always have each other. But i dont know if i am strong enough like my mom bc she works REALLY hard and she is also REALLY smart but maybe not always people know it bc she does not like to be the attention of everybody and that she brags what she can. But if she knows something than she says it very politely and is modest. And also at home she really cares about everybody and really does what she can for everybody. That is what i also want but i dont know if i can do it like her too.

1) I only wear a bit of makeup to increase my facial expressions for like ballet shows or special occasions. I wear a tiny bit every day because it prevents me for touching my eyes too much.

2) Sometimes, you just get a "vibe". Or sometimes, we just hear or see things when you guys can't (like in the bathroom or else) and it can change our opinion of someone.

3) Sometimes, when you're walking and there's a guy walking to you, the guy never goes apart first.

4) I don't know, sorry.

5) Actually a lot of things (things I'm doing, watching, thoughts I'm having or videos games I'm playing).

6) I think women are often judged when they're muscular, so I would like to be a guy so I can be muscular without being judged (I'm sorry it's so sad to say).

7) Worst thing is sexism, and best thing is... I don't know so I'm just going to say being alive 😅🎀.

8) I don't look for appearance. I look for culture.

9) I don't mind with my husband or wife being from an other country, actually if we like each other nationality doesn't count.

12) Yes, my opinion of my parents evolved now that I'm not a kid anymore. And like everyone, I wish that some things could change, like my dad cleaning and cooking as much as my mom or driving me to my activities.

13) I had very long hair for a long time, and I like it because I could style it in almost every way I liked, but short hair is just as good. I think it's just about if you think it's pretty or not.

Ok Yui, I will answer these for you... I will feel a little ridiculous since I am too old for it. But will answer.

1. I have NO f*cking idea, why women wear this crap. I don't. It seems like a giant waste of time and money to me. The pink tax is an evil thing and I refuse to pay it on principle that it is icky, not worth it, and demeaning to women. But we all make personal choices and we are all entitled to make personal choices. Not everyone feels like I do about this pore clogging gook.
2. I think to some extent girls emulate what they see on tv. They have been taught by society to be petty and nasty and catty. I don't interact that way with other adult women. If society keeps women in competition with each other, they aren't competing with men or asserting ownership of their own lives and are not making demands for equity from society. Instead they are fighting each other. Ladies, it's dumb. Please get over it and make the world a better place instead.
3. I dunno.... Puberty??? Pregnancy? Being judged on their appearance? Being told they can't do things because they aren't boys? Being told not to drive late at night? Being suffocated by over protectiveness to ensure some weird Christian agenda of female purity? Men will never understand what that is like cuz no one does it to them.
4. Don't know, don't care. You tell me.
5. My best friend is a great dane. I tell her everything. No secrets cuz she doesn't understand me anyway.
6. Well one phrase goes through my head everytime I have PMS and I don't say it out loud. "Men should have to go through this." Then I usually curl up in a ball and cry cuz the cramps hurt.
7. Best and worst thing? Really? If I answer this it will be a rather dirty answer in part and I would rather keep a forum full of kids clean. So skipping it till yur all over 18.
8. My husband struck me as very smart and kind when I met him. He also struck me as someone not trying to control me, manage me, or own me as property. He also treated me with respect. Then he demonstrated his skills at partnership and that was 20 years ago. So I decided he was the one and married him 17 years ago in July. I am still on my first marriage. I don't plan to have a second.
9. My husband is Suomelainen. He is Finnish. Marrying someone not american was not necessarily part of the plan, marrying at all was not part of the plan. The plan was to be the crazy cat lady living alone with 80 cats that the local kids thought was a witch. I always thought though If I did marry my partner would be Irish. Joke was on me. I married a Finn born on St. Patrick's day. I tried dating American men.... I really didn't like it. I found this really tragic built in sexism and machoism that really turned me off.
10. The freedom they have. The way they don't have to fear and worry about the same things I do. The way society treats them and the privilege they have as a result of being male. No one condescending to them or trying to protect them all the damn time. No one refusing to accept their authority. They are men that is all they need. I am bothered that that is all they need. It pisses me off.
11. People. I can't deal with things. And honestly I prefer chickens goats dogs and horses to most people most of the time.
12. Yes. It has. I could get very deep on this but I don't think it matters. So just gonna say yes. Also, I am an adult. The roll my parents play in my life has shifted many times over the years. Their current relevance is a bit less than it is for many who still live at home.
13. I have short hair. it's dark thick and short. It is also shiny and no matter what I did to it in my teens and how I tried to murder it there was nothing I was ever able to do for fun that destroyed it. I don't want long hair. Most girls I think do long hair because it is headaches, because they think boys like it. DO boys like long hair on girls? I don't care about the answer but I am sure many other girls reading this may care.

Yeah ! My parent divorced when I was ten. So now I see them on another way. My father especially💁‍♀️ And for norms, my mother is a lovely women so I hope that one day I’ll be like her !

Personally i see makeup as an art, just like fashion. I match everything between my clothes, makeup, heels, hairdo cause i have such huge interest in Fashion and Beauty. When i do makeup, It also help to build and boost my mood, cause at the process, i feel the joy, the fun especially when i nailed it. And it feel the same as making illustration, painting, cooking or do what you like.

i also wonder why 🙂 But, personally i never hate someone with no specific reason. No matter if it girl or boy, if you hurt or attack me, i won't go silent.

I think many men don't know that PMS cramps are not just about regular stomach aches, but can also make women feel like they've been punched repeatedly, their stomachs feel like a squeezed cloth, which causes women to not only be helpless, but can make it difficult for women to receive food or drink because when the intake enters, it can make the woman vomit. and the nausea due to PMS will last all day, going back and forth to the bathroom to vomit, to vomiting yellow. and the videos about PMS simulators that are given to men (so that they can understand), actually still do not generalized how the pain that many women feel. you can this video to know the comparation source source 2

I know how to change a fatherless father to fill his role again.
Also, even though my male friends like patriarchy product/system, I still want to be friends with him without hating them. And, In fact, they just don't know how much patriarchy impacts women, that's why by trying to understand his thinking, I implicitly and i gently provide data or content that can be used as evidence of how a man can be misogynist. And the final result is, when they without realize act misogynist (towards objects other than me) in front of me, they become reluctant.

-fashion & beauty options are more varied

-being smart women are much more appreciated (also scared) by people

-supportive yet strong bond among women, especially when they support each other, is powerful. From quiet understanding to global movements, women often find strength in community.

-Women have historically survived and thrived, under oppressive systems, constantly adapting and pushing back. There’s a quiet fire in womanhood.

-higher empathy

Worst:
-Systemic Misogyny & Inequality, Whether it’s unequal pay, pink tax, underrepresentation in leadership, or gender-based violence, structural oppression still limits women across the globe.

-Beauty standards that created to fulfill the male gaze are often impossible and deeply internalized.

-Not being believed or heard, In workplaces, relationships, or even in medical contexts, women’s voices are often doubted or dismissed, especially when reporting pain, abuse, or ideas.
-Simply walking home at night, traveling alone, or dressing how you want can be dangerous. Freedom isn’t always safe when you’re a woman.

-Since centuries, women have been in demand to complement their partners and their advantages are not appreciated but rather considered as threat to their partners.

at first glance yes appearance, but for me personally, when the process of getting close turns out that communication is not smooth, or there are many differences in mindset, or there are signs of potential red flags, I choose to back down. Appearance may be attractive, but for me, what determines whether I will be with him for a long time is his quality. Is he smart? Is he has mental stability? is he have great manners? is he respect the boundaries i set? is he willing to hear and accept my advice or opinion? is he respect equality? is he a great communicator and great at problem solving? has he ever cheat? and such thing

I prefer the people, Why? Because even though I can dive deep into how "things" work, like tech, art tools, psychology frameworks, or world systems. What truly brings them to life is how they affect people, how people relate to them, and how people use or are shaped by them. Whether it’s helping you write a story, understand a social issue, or process emotions — it’s always the human layer that adds depth, meaning, and beauty.

yes since my dad agree to change his patriarchal mindset and try to fix things, but, as a child who growing up in a fatherless home (even though my dad still in my home) with a dictatorial parenting style, I will not adopt dictatorship.

1) Being kind. And not being fake. Whether it is in front of their friends or private. They should be who they are, and often, that's enough for me to gain a good impression.

2) No, I don't really have that. But she should fit my standards and I'd love to know if she had some too, because I can't stand girls without standart.

3) Not really. I think she could dress up with whatever she wants, unless it's not like "craving for male attention". I can't stand that, whether it would be my girlfriend or not. But in general I like those comfy fits in winter. Like hoodies, messy hair, sweatpants. I love that. Or in summer those tops. I just like when girls like what they feel like wearing that day, but not without standarts.

4) I think, if girls talk a lot, it's easy to talk to them automatically. And that can be attractive and let them seem nice. I really like when a girl starts the conversation. Some minutes ago, a girl wrote me on this app and complimented me about my profile. I liked that. Not really because of the compliment, but because I knew she was interested. I mean if you start a conversation yourself, you never really know what you're on. But if someone starts talking to you, you know.

Shy girls often seem cute to me. I just like this treat. But if course, both answers cannot be said in general.

5) I don't really have an opinion on that. I think girls should be accepted to do that as well as boys do. I mean I have the feeling that some guys think it's weird. But for me, it's absolutely fine. Why should it not be fine?

6) About other people. Depends on who I gossip with, but mostly about the other students in class. I love gossip btw 💅🏼✨

7) I don't know, but I asked myself the same question several time. I'm not gay and I'm not afraid to be called so or something like that. But I thought about it. I don't know, and it's interesting to think about it Ig.

8) blood. Lol. But I like it. The aesthetic, the colour, to me it's a really special vibe. And I love it.

9) Yes, I do. But not secretly. Even though I don't read or watch books/movies which are purely romance, I watch some movies that have very much romance in it. And I enjoy reading it as well, but I think right now I'm more into watching. But I wouldn't call those movies classical romance movies, as I said, but maybe you know "The Fall Guy".

It's been my favorite movie for a long time and I really love it, and Romance is a important part.

10) I don't know. I think I would do makeup, just because I associate it with being a "girly" girl. But I think there's not that much of a difference in being a boy or a girl.

Apart from that I'd like to experience having the period once because I'd like to know what it's like.

11) VERY, VERY, GOOD. I think most men / boys do so. But really, there's nothing more attractive to me than a girl actually showing she's interested. Or even just in friendships or general conversations, I like it. And on top of that, I'm a huge overthinker, so I enjoy it, because it makes life "easier", yk

12) What a question. So much, and I don't know what to say, haha. I feel like I'm not old enough to be allowed to give my opinion on that, but anyways. I think all those expectations are not important. What really is important is what you agree on in a relationship. Who does what? What is your job, what is her's/his job? I think, when that question is out of the way, there is no space left to argue about it. That's all I can say by now, because I guess, my perspective on that will grow as I grow up.

I don't wear any. But I think it's because it makes most of us feel prettier. I'm not sure.

Hate is a strong word, I prefer saying 'dislike'. And there are reasons. In my case, when I dislike someone, it's often because I don't like their attitude, their vibe or how they act. When I get a gut feeling that I won't get along with someone, I listen to it because it's almost always right. And it's easier to keep it unnoticeable when you dislike a guy because you can just avoid him, so it looks like we only dislike girls but that's probably not the case for everyone.

Periods. You might think it's just a bit of blood, but it can really hurt, and we still have to go on with our day like nothing's wrong. Plus, sometimes it makes us sick, induces depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, mood swings, irritability, and anxiety. I can tell you with certainty, it's not something we enjoy having.

I don't know. I do my best to avoid others when I can, so I don't really pay attention to how other people are. Maybe my irrational fear of eye contact isn't common, but I'm not. the only one having trouble with that.

Humans are so ugly and scary. Some of us are prettier than others, but I completely understand why most animals are afraid of us. We look disgusting and so odd.

The best thing... I'm not sure. Maybe my body and flexibility? The worst part is periods.

It depends on the girl, I think. Of course most prefer a handsome person over, well, not... but in my opinion personality and qualities matter more. If there is a very handsome jerk, the jerk part is still going to make me dislike and avoid him.

I don't know... physically, I have no idea, but maybe the fact that less men are afraid of spiders than women? I'm working on my fear, but I would have preferred not to have it in the first place.

Of course, my view of them has developed a lot, but I still love them the same. The only thing that changed is my understanding of their position and responsibilities. When I become a parent, I wish I'll do as good as a job as my parents. I have to admit that I'm a bit worried because kids look like a lot of trouble(I've always been a calm child, but I don't know if my children will be the same...). I want to be able to be as calm as my mother when facing an issue, but a bit more strict, so that there isn't an issue in the first place. And I want to be as awesome as my father, but less authoritarian.

I like long hair, but not too long. I prefer it above the hips but under the shoulders. And that's because at that length, it doesn't make too much of a difference of temperature in summer but still hides the neck from the sun, AND it makes me warmer in winter 😉
