Hello everybody! 🤗🤗🥰 Today is Trust Your Intuition Day!! I did not know that this day existed and that people celebrate it. If you want to read more about it you can do that here: https://nationaltoday.com/trust-your-intuition-day/
Can i ask anybody who wants to answer: do you think your intuition is important and are you confident that you trust it always?
These are nice quotes about intuition:
📸️ 📸️ 📸️ 📸️
I think your intuition is very important because it tells you what to do. I don't rely on it often enough.

I want to trust on YOUR intuition so if you can borrow it to me!! 🤭🤭 But i think what you say is true about that it is important to trust on your OWN intiution enough!!!!! 🌈🌞✨
And i know this is not a religious forum but today is the day that the Buddha was enlightened and it is also his birthday today. I wrote more about it here: penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/10888-religions-explained/ So for us it is important as a day and maybe also for others who do for example meditation or yoga or other things. 🙂

hiii @-Kiki-!! yes of course not a problem. so the person who told me MOST stories was my grandmom. but now not anymore for other reasons but she told me things about the Buddha when there is a nice lesson what you must know or do.
i already mentioned two examples on the forum but they are very important to me. if you like i can give you more examples of course. that is not a problem!! 🙂
so for example my grandmom said that with everything that you learn or know that you must NOTTT be arrogant that you dont want to listen even if somebody can prove that you are wrong. so you must ALWAYS accept that somebody can prove you differently about certain things. EVEN with religion. so if you are a Buddhist and you believe in all stories for example about the Buddha himself. You can be wrong. And even the Buddha would say that of himself. my grandmom said this is a lesson NOTTTT only for religion but about everything. so if you accept that you can be wrong about stuff than you listen better and more to others. and instead of being arrogrant that you know it better without even listening you can be more open and soft and accept that you can learn.
another example is if smb is angry at you or attacks you. of course you can be super angry and attack back. and sometimes you do and that is ok. but the buddha was attacked by demons with arrows and instead of fighting back he just turned the arrows into flowers. that way he was not hurt and needed no protection anymore and flowers are things you like so he was happy about it. this lesson is difficult to do in normal life but it shows that if you are soft and gentle instead of attacking back that sometimes it can be a better way!! so many people think being soft is WEAKKK and that people will just abuse it but i think that is wrong. if you are softer and gentle it can also be STRONGGGG in some cases but it just depends what happened if it will work. 🙄🙄🙏🙏

Those are good examples. Based on what you said; Buddhists value kindness and humbleness? I think it's good to strive to be like that. And you're right about softness not being weak; I feel strong when I'm vulnerable.
Thank you very much @-Kiki-!! Yes you must be humble and kind and try to give positive thoughts and feelings to persons. And you must accept that you can be wrong or make mistakes and that way you dont have like a super big ego.
I dont always feel strong when you are vulnerable but i still think that it is not weak. But if you are gentle and softer then other people will also act like that and it makes everything better. That is what i believe also bc of what my grandmom told me about it.
For me meditation is still difficult bc my head keeps speaking and i try to stop it. And it works for like 5 seconds and after that you start thinking again and again. But i like to try it every time again and i get calmer and i hope everybody else too. 🌺🙏🙏
I dont know who from everybody on this forum also likes meditation but i know at least @H_E_A_R_T likes it too!! 🙂
but my way to meditate is different. I don`t control my thoughts.
I think it is impossible to control the thoughts. But sometimes if i really try meditation my head keeps having like 897231 thoughts. And if i do the exercise like for example you focus on breathing and that works for like 5 seconds and after it you think a lot of stuff again and that happens every time. So that part is a bit difficult.
Thank you very much @H_E_A_R_T and i think mayhbe you have to practice it every day a little bit but sometimes i cant do it bc it is too busy with hw and school. But i want to try to do it every day even if it is only 10 minutes or a bit longer.
And thank you very much for the nice tips @Kia890!!! Grazie!!! I hope that the books are not super complicated. I think i know Thich Nhat Hahn bc he is also a Buddhist and he wrote about Buddhism too for example that you must forgive people always in a way so you get peace of it. I remember that bc my aunt has a book from him.
My wife and I have been doing chair yoga for many years. For the past few years we have been following the chair yoga classes given on Youtube, and in particular, Yoga Vista. These are free sessions that range in time from 15 minutes to one hour. They are varied and even contain standing yoga for balance, dance yoga, breathing and other great stretching exercises. If you never tried chair yoga, give it a shot. It is not as easy as it looks.
