⛪🕋 Religions explained ⛩️🙏

Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️ Yesterday @lucasar92 made a very interesting forum bc there is a new pope!! You can read it here: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/1-politics-and-governments/10882-what-will-the-new-pope-called-leone-xiv-do

And i asked two questions:

1️⃣ Why cant the Pope be a woman

2️⃣ Why is the Pope chosen secretly and not by ALL Christians.

Maybe the questions were not really smart but I am not a Christian and we only learn about it in history class and society class but i have not a religion class. And i have not yet read the Bible or the Koran yet.

In the forum @lucasar92, @diogenes_cask and @Dreamfern gave super clear answers that explain everything. And i dont want that forum to get lost and the answers too. So i decided to make this forum so everybody who reads this forum can find it with the link above. There is also another forum about religion here: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/9866-which-religion-do-you-belive-in

If in the future anybody has a question about a religion, you can post it below. And i hope somebody can perhaps give the answer. 😊😊 Thank you very much for that and i hope everybody can be respectfully about each other's religion and what you believe. Thank you very much!!!! 🌸🌼🌻❤️

1. Men are scared of women, patriarchy...

2. Because cardinals are people personally chosen by the pope to replace him as worthy successors, that is, the rest of the rights of choice are not worthy.

Thanksss Stasy @PinkiePie for replying!! 🙏🙏 Can I ask what is the most important day in your religion? And do you celebrate it with your family or your friends? 🙂

I'm atheist, but in my family it's all days when they can eat yummy food, like all religious people in CIS

Thank you very much @nikikat_03!! In the forum of @lucasar92 that you can find here there are also a lot of good explanations that are important to understand it completely.

For our family Buddhism is important and today is an important day bc it is the birthday of the Buddha. And also on this date he became elightened. The way my family wants to know Buddhism is that it is a very peaceful religion and that you never think that your religion is better than from another person. So for example we believe in Buddhism but we accept that we can be wrong. And we also accept that more people may each be right with different religions. We believe that everything is possible and that everything should be respected if it is important for other persons.

Does anybody else wants to tell about the most important day in their religion? And do you celebrate days for example at school of other religions?

Hello everybody!! Today is Ascension Day and in my country and @nikikat_03 said also in Germany everybody is free from school and tomorrow too!!! In Dutch it is called Hemelvaart and it means that Jesus went to heaven. I dont know how they found out it was EXACTLY on this day bc maybe it could have been a day earlier or even more? If people who read this forum are Christian: how do you celebrate it except being free from school and maybe also work? Thank you very much!! 🙏🙏
