We were always endangered by Russia, so I will safer in NATO. You were in better position before war, and you had advantage with germans over Poland, Ukraine, and Baltic countries. Now you lost it.

For me, the fact that Russia was growing before war, thanks to UE willing to cooperate with Russia, is enough argument to say, that Russia wasn't threatened by "West". And NATO is danger for you only if you are going to make wars.

Lianshen, its definitely not enough to say that west is losing eventual economic competition. Especially when You would compare more factors than just currency and things powered by war, what is probably temporary.

Aditionnaly, sanctions on Russia in the past only had a positive effect on Russia, making it more independent by producing things they once used to import. China, on its part, doesn't give much of a shit for they already have more or less evertyhign and a massive storage of raw materials, which they have been monitoring for a few years and that has led to shortages in many places, notably in techologies sectors, but also the car industry (hello Renault).

And the question is: who is in better position to lift and rebuild the industry in country? Who have more money for this, who have more modern ideas and "know-how", who have demography. UE doesn't sends people to fight on frontline, and doesn't redirect industry for war's need.

So, from that whole chaos and evilness we should also be more independent and at least in this get some profits. We should. We will see how will situation evolve of course.

Because they have the lands, the raw materials and the will to, whereas our countries have the "will" to, and are just doing shit. For instance, the will in France is to develope new technologies ), but one of the strongest point in France is agriculture for there are very rich lands, and "produits du terroirs".
So, in France, they want to build something from almost 0 because we're very late in this kind of industry (thanks to the geniuses leading us), and let die a bit more what is a strong part of our sovereignty and identity.

I fully agree. Leaders are -normally- chosen in order to plan for us, but there is no hint that ours are planniong anything if not against us. Most of time, they are, especially on a EU level, taking the "hhomework" of some lobbies and taking the check that goes with. Russia and China, on the other side, showed some sort of plannification although far from being perfect, and some reactivity. This can be seen, for instance, with alternative to swift system or with storage of money/debts.

Sources of material as well for Europe. For France especially, we just came back to the idea that closing functionnal nuclear plants was retarded and that we should open new ones (holy fuck, it's not like were labeled as retards and conspirasionists for saying that Fessenheim was a very nice nuclear plant).
Also, haven't you seen the shortage in electronic components since the covid crisis? China is playing against us here. Russia still has China as potential ally to develope on the electronic and has more than a potential economic partner (as we excluded from the "world" China, Iran, Venezuela and messed in many other places). As for McDonald, is it a loss? I don't see it as more than soft power from the US, that gives diabetes to people, but here again, Russia showed that they can adapt. When France stopped export of cheese,c hampagne and French product of this kind, Russia started to develope their own and didn't give a shit anymore about protected labels, which has been more detrimental to France than to Russia since one became independent and the other lost a source of income...

Well, China only has to avoid losing its industry, and Russia has to build it... Europe, on its part, lost the know-how by feeding a country like China for saving some costs. Yet, we would be in a not so bad position if it was only this, you also had to take in consideration that the US is also bloodsucking us from our talents and industries at the moment... So maybe Poland is in a better position to rebuild/keep its industry, but a country like France is kind of in a deep shit in my opinion.

True, but we have our few industrial that are making record benefits on our back. At the moment, a yellow jackets-like movement is emerging in France because of that, so we still have issues, but granted maybe that, with the time, Russia's "advantage" is plumettering at our benefit. I'd add that during the pandemics, we opened more bed in hospitals in order to face the crisis, and it also should have been an eye opener that we need to get more bed and more people in health services, yet Macron closed more and more hospitals right after the peak.

China is probably not very enthusiastic with all the situation because the government there knows that they are not ready to confront the West yet. However, it"s matter of life or death for them, so USS sanctions on semiconductors will only push them like Russia to get more idnependents by developping semiconductors more and, I hope no, take action against Taiwan. Here again, the US is nourishing a fire that we absolutely don't need.
