Simone: it was an instant classic against Barca (both matches). The clash with PSG will be a difficult one. A lot of scoring capabilities at PSG from virtually all lines (including the backs). The strikers are swift and gifted with strong technical capabilities. The midfield is dominant and there is an Italian giant as goalkeeper who had some excellent saves in Paris. All ingredients for an epic final in Munich!

Paolo: Will keep my fingers crossed for AC Milan in the cup final! The European elimination of Fiorentina was unfortunate. Let’s hope that AC Milan can give you something to celebrate!

Simone/Paolo: On Dutch tv there was a pre-match interview of Marco van Basten (ahead of Inter-Barca). As an apparently natural phenomenon, he commented that as a former player of AC Milan he will “of course” be supporting Barca. Not sure if such animosity is felt at least on a similar level in Italia?

Savi ho dei dubbi che sarà una passeggiata per il Milan la finale di coppa Italia, ieri sera l'abbiamo ribaltata negli ultimi 15 minuti, la Fiorentina se andava in finale probabilmente avrebbe perso la terza finale di Conference consecutiva contro il Chelsea

Van Basten ha giocato 6 anni nel Milan che doveva dire, che tifava per l'Inter? Anche io due anni fa tifai City ma solo perché ci battevano di continuo (Inter vinse 4 derby in 3 mesi), quest'anno se vince l'Inter ho piacere per Simone ma solo per lui

Thanks Paolo. I agree that AC Milan has a fierce opponent awaiting them in the final of the Coppa Italia. Nevertheless, I expect AC Milan to take the trophy to San Siro!

The Serie A seems to be all exciting again. I haven't seen the last Napoli game against Genoa. Was it stress or fatigue on the part of Napoli? Home advantage and the current lead in Italy were apparently insufficient to secure a win. It still seems that Inter will have a difficult gamble with both the Serie A title run and the CL final ahead of them. I assume that each game should be considered to be a final with no starting players to get any significant rest on the bench.

Did anybody see the dramatic collapse of Real against Barca in the first half? It seems that La Liga has been decided for this season. Happy to see Catalan supremacy with a team of youngsters!

It is an unfortunate outcome Paolo. I have only seen snippets of the game and understood that AC Milan simply performed in a horrible fashion. Not sure whether this was due to the pressure, fatigue or anything else. In the Dutch press there are also commentaries being shared of Reijnders possibly leaving AC Milan this summer. Apparently there is eagerness on the part of RM, Man City and other teams to secure his signature.

Savi.... il Barcellona ha vinto la Liga, praticamente ha fatto il triplete, campionato, coppa e supercoppa spagnola, per me è la squadra più forte d'Europa quest'anno da centrocampo in su, peccato la difesa da horror

Milan vergognoso nella finale di coppa, senza cuore, ne voglia, un tiro in porta in 90 minuti, il Bologna ha meritato anche se non ha fatto chissà che.... Dicono offerta City per Reijnders, l'altra sera uno dei peggiori anche se quest'anno ha fatto bene, 15 goal tra serie A e Champions league

Paolo a questo punto direi il Milan deve cercare di qualificarsi a tutti i costi almeno per l'Europa League; ho letto di molti tifosi che sarebbero invece contrari ad un'eventuale qualificazione in Conference, ma io non la penso così, per me rimane comunque una coppa e un potenziale obiettivo stagionale da raggiungere, anche se è vero che costerebbe un certo dispendio di energie per le altre competizioni.

Conference league?.... Magari veniamo buttati fuori da qualche squadretta slovena o finlandese,con questi giocatori c'è da aspettarsi di tutto....

Milan fuori dalle competizioni europee, Inter che si gioca l'ennesima possibilità di vincere lo Scudetto, Napoli che vincerà più per demeriti degli altri che per meriti suoi. In Serie B Brescia che rischia la retrocessione e la Samp forse potrebbe salvarsi da una storica retrocessione in Serie C.
