It would be interesting to see Frenkie de Jong as a defensive midfielder together with Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool) in the national team. With players such as Van Dijk, Timber, Hato, Aké and De Vrij there are quite some defensive capabilities available directly behind De Jong & Gravenberch.
Which team do you support in the Serie A Paolo?
Tijani Reijnders is a great player. In the Dutch squad, we also have several other young talented midfielders who can assist the attack (e.g. Xavi Simons and Justin Kluivert). Teun Koopmeinders at Juve seems less impressive this season.
My teams are Ajax in The Netherlands and Barca/Liverpool in foreign leagues. But nothing beats AC Milan with Maldini, Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard!
In current times I rarely get to watch a full match, but it is nice to occasionally see some highlights in a spare moment.

I can vividly remember the CL Final of Ajax vs AC Milan in 1995! The 70s squad with Cruijf, Neeskens and others was before my time (born in 1980). My first soccer memory dates back to the EC 1988 (only trophy ever won by The Netherlands).
You are located in Milan? How does the rivalry between AC and Inter play out? Location within the city? Are both teams playing in San Siro?
Firenze? That is awesome.! My wife and I got married in Fiesole overlooking the skyline of Florence! We will return somewhere in the coming years to visit the city and the wedding venue with our two daughters!

Just after speaking about the disappointing season of Koopmeinders at Juve, he apparently had a good game yesterday (including an early goal within the first 5 minutes of the game). The arrival of the new manager may create a momentum.I always liked the tandem of Chiellini and Bonucci in the past. Good defending is an art (our national team finally got the defensive capabilities improved with several key players).
Off topic question regarding magnificent Fiesole: is Villa di Maiano still in use?
What are your predictions for the CL matches this evening Paolo and Esma-Nur? It seems that PSG will return to Paris unscathed. In Dortmund Barca has a comfortable lead of 0-4 and must preserve energy for their remaining adventure in the CL and their title aspirations @ La Liga.
sadly i didnt see ur message earlier but i only watched ONE match which was the Intr BMünih match and that disappointed me so i will probably not watch any games this month (so i will try)

nope I like BM and BVB i am a tie for them both. example if they both play i am like this: Ok who has a better day wil in or if sbd asks me BM or BVB i mostly say both but tbh i like BM a little more 🤭
It seems that BM has a clear path towards lifting the trophy again in Germany. The premature CL exit is unfortunate.

@Paolo17jun l'ho detto l'altra volta, quest'anno zero titoli per noi. Ieri avremmo dovuto giocare come se fosse stata una finale di Champions, invece abbiamo giocato manco fosse stata Scapoli contro Ammogliati, già a partire dalla formazione iniziale. Una vittoria avrebbe anche aumentato l'umore in vista dei prossimi impegni, ora con quale mentalità possiamo andare al Camp Nou e pensare di battere il Barça dopo aver preso tre schiaffi e perso l'ennesimo derby (e possibile titolo)? Poi magari vinciamo e ben venga, ma io so già come andrà. A questo punto spero che la squadra dia il tutto per tutto in Campionato, altrimenti, in una settimana, questa rischia di diventare da una stagione da sogno ad una stagione da incubo. Il Milan zitto zitto quest'anno avrà vinto due titoli e si sarà qualificato per l'Europa, mentre l'Inter, che a detta di molti è al momento la squadra più forte d'Italia, tornerà a casa con le pive nel sacco.

Si vabbè, il Milan tre tiri tre gol, ok sarà un merito ma insomma c'è andato tutto bene, voi siete in netta difficoltà fisica, d'altronde giocare ogni tre giorni partite da dentro o fuori porta via energie fisiche e mentali... Questa situazione mi ricorda l'aprile 1990 quando il Milan di Sacchi perse in una settimana coppa Italia contro la Juventus e scudetto contro il Napoli poi a maggio vinse la coppa Campioni, ogni riferimento è puramente casuale... L'ho detto anche io che l'Inter è la squadra più forte e lo confermo, non è che ci voglia un genio a pensarlo
Ah, non pensiamo che sia facile col Bologna, ci hanno già battuti in campionato
