But if you take a bath it is important that you have first a quick shower so you get cleaner before you sit in the bath. We always shower like 2 or 3 minutes and then sit in the bath. If you work on a farm and you have maybe mud or sand you can shower that away first. Because if you dont wash at all and sit in a bath it may not be very clean anymore.Fair enough, but for skin, bath is not worse than taking shower too often. Honestly, I can feel him for not liking to shower. As for a daily routine, don't forget that he doesn't live in a city but in countryside and we don't get as dirty as in cities for the same activities (thanks to having a little less pollution that stick to the skin).I think the routine like daily ritual of shower is the best. And maybe in the weekend a bath because if you do that too often it is not good for your skin.

So, important is to get clean yourself and also the smell for others is not a nice thing . And i know you work on a farm... so, mayve in the evening?
On my part, I have to take a shower everyday now that I am in a city and especially since it's getting hot, but when I was in the countryside, if I didn't sweat of course, I would gladly skip up to 2-3 days of shower 🦨

He is literally a teenager and during puberty,we all know that it’s very easy to smell bad. Also, there are some parts of your body that you should wash everyday for your health and love for yourself. Also, don’t forget that he works in a farm.

As far as I know, skin infections can indeed occur if you don't wash yourself enough, especially some parts, and not washing for 5 months is definitely too little and risky (I remember an acquaintance telling us about having to scratch the dead skin of a grandma who didn't shower, because the skin was cuting her blood flow), but washing too often also damage your microbiome and can have the same effect.

If you live alone then you can avoid showers but if you live with your family,go out etc. then it’s respect for you and for other people.
If showering once a day is probably not "too often", it's not necessary either though, at least if you don't have physical exercise or weather that recquires you too.

However, you are right about the teenager part but, unfortunately, that's the moment of the ife where a boy is the less liekly to take a shower...

It also indepent the work you do .

If you live alone then you can avoid showers but if you live with your family,go out etc. then it’s respect for you and for other people.Indeed, that's also why I consider that 3-4 days is the max without shower. After that, everyone would stink, not talking a teen boy.
And let me add,it’s important for your dignity

I don't understand your point here. Could you rephrase please?mean if you don't take a shower for a really long time it can be have skinproblems.
mean if you don't take a shower for a really long time it can be have skinproblems. Then we are saying the same thing. As for everyday, again, that's not always necessary. Like you said, if you just spend your day sitting or if you don't get sweaty/dirty, I don't see the problem with skipping that step and only shower several times a week.
But also indepent the work you do to take a shower every day.. if you sitting home for 24/7 maybe it not needed to take it every day
I honestly think thay not taking showers should be illegal and that everyone should wear perfume,a scented body cream, deodorant and breath sprayNo thanks for the perfume/scented body cream or breath spray. I wish I could skip the deodorant, but only east asians have this priviledge 😉
What about taking a bath?We dont háve one yet. But ofc its much better 🙂Not even everyday, but like once every 3-4 days if you don't do exercise is good, at least not to smell too much when you have to deal with other people, ahah
