Not planning to stop even though it is definitely time consuming, I still enjoy doing this for the most part. People used to help back in the day, now I tend to rely on automation to alleviate as many tedious things as possible (even for humans they're not very fun). I don't use modern AI because it's too costly, but probably one day. The number of active members has stayed the same for a long time so I don't expect more work π

I usually forget about this application for a few years and then for one reason or another I'm looking for a penpal to exchange handwritten letters with so I remember and come back here. Right now I'm looking for a French speaker but so far no reply to my friend requests. So yes I feel it was livelier here 10 years ago. But then again I'm not here that often anymore so maybe I'm wrong. It's nice seeing your forum posts though π

Now i think that the forum is really nice and sometimes it goes super fast like a chatroom!!! π π BUTTT maybe that was also earlier but i think maybe u and @Simone724 and @Etienne know that better. And the people on the forum if u write them then i think mostly u get a super quick reaction because they are really active. I no longer have access to analytics from 10 years ago but I'm pretty sure activity levels were similar. However, PPG has always been more popular with 15-20yos. Since you appear to be 30, this could explain the perceived quieter community (this only applies to private messages though).
