I think that PPG is not earning money for @Etienne, but that he puts more money in PPG than he gets because almost everything is free. Maybe if all that money @Etienne kept himself instead of using it for PPG than he would be able to buy a big car or have a super nice vacation to somewhere!! ๐
Can I ask one more question: how much time in the week do you spend for PPG @Etienne? It is maybe not the same every week but about that number in a normal week? Merci beaucoup!! ๐๐๐
Thankfully I don't need to use my personal money, advertising covers just enough. The day I have to pay to work will probably be the last day of my engagement ๐.
It's hard to gauge how much time I dedicate to PPG every week, but if I had to guess I'd say something like 5-10 hours a week on top of my regular job.

2๏ธโฃ The PPG blogs you can only see the list when you log out bc there is no tab when you are logged in. So maybe it is nice if there is a tab for it for members or is that a LOTTTT of work? Bc if that is the case i would not do it.

No because it will look very messy if customization is too flexible (same reason other social networks don't allow colors)

The blog will no longer be updated. It was an attempt to improve ranking on Google but it didn't yield any meaningful results therefore it will be discontinued.

But balut is also very scary if you can really also see it what it is!!!!!!! And i thought Sannakji in Korea was NOT alive but only looked like it. BUTTT if you search author you have to be really precise or it does not work. But you can now search on comments and not only the forums if i understand now how it works? But i like it but when i just used it i was like ๐ณ๐๐ฏ
Btw if im on my laptop and i click homepage and click on load more it does not work anymore. But if you click on forum you see the whole list like on your mobile. ๐

Yes forum search was greatly improved, it used to be borderline unusable. Username search must be exact, yes.

Not planning to stop even though it is definitely time consuming, I still enjoy doing this for the most part. People used to help back in the day, now I tend to rely on automation to alleviate as many tedious things as possible (even for humans they're not very fun). I don't use modern AI because it's too costly, but probably one day. The number of active members has stayed the same for a long time so I don't expect more work ๐

For me it feels as if there's not as much going on here anymore. I usually forget about this application for a few years and then for one reason or another I'm looking for a penpal to exchange handwritten letters with so I remember and come back here. Right now I'm looking for a French speaker but so far no reply to my friend requests. So yes I feel it was livelier here 10 years ago. But then again I'm not here that often anymore so maybe I'm wrong. It's nice seeing your forum posts though ๐

Now i think that the forum is really nice and sometimes it goes super fast like a chatroom!!! ๐๐ BUTTT maybe that was also earlier but i think maybe u and @Simone724 and @Etienne know that better. And the people on the forum if u write them then i think mostly u get a super quick reaction because they are really active. I no longer have access to analytics from 10 years ago but I'm pretty sure activity levels were similar. However, PPG has always been more popular with 15-20yos. Since you appear to be 30, this could explain the perceived quieter community (this only applies to private messages though).
