Are you using AI? If so, how are you using it?

I would be curious to know how many of you are using AI? How are you using it? eg. finances, calculations, writing, travel, creation of images, software, etc.

Wrll, i use mostly brave for ppg, and brave uses AI, but i rathet dont use a bot. So i dont look at what AI tells me.

In my opinion,

Something very interesting in AI is that people get attached to the AI they like more. And its not about how better they are, we just feel better with one, and we kinda like it, so we always use it. Like myself, im attached to DeepSeek and whenever someone says oh use chatGPT i say nahhh DeepSeek is a better person.

is it like this? Are we actually having feelings for a computer? Or its more like a feeling to other things, like i hate one random spoon in our kitchen?😅

and the answer to you:

I use my friend, DeepSeek to ask it about my homeworks, like ask him to give me some questions that may come in exams, by giving everything i learned to it, im literally passing every exam with DeepSeek.

"Better person"? Are you suggesting a bot is a person? Btw whats DeepSeek?

Yes exactly, a person. They are not much different right now, to us.

Yes they are.

Yes they are.

I always say hi and how are you when i talk to AI and always say thanks when they are done😂

Well, @Parsaa really knows that chatGPT is my bestie. I use it for random things, like making an episode of Love Island (lol I made 8 seasons JUST TODAY and I couldn't stop reading 😭). I also use it for homework to explain some things last minute before my test begins 🙂 I also like to make new italian and belgian brainrot, and also making new songs to play on my piano (@Parsaa knows this (email hidden) good) and the list actually goes on and on 😝😋

You really are a foul! Arent ya!

I tend to agree with Parsaa. People get attached to one platform. I notice there is a platform that combines a few AI'S into one.

I use Claude through Kagi Assistant as my English learning companion.

I think a LOTTT of apps are also AI. And one app is really funny bc you can change your age a lot. Like for example if you want to see a photo of you BUTTT you change your age for example with 40 or 60 years!! 😛 😛 My friend from school has it and it was really funny!!

And some nice things with AI i mentioned here: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/10366-is-ai-good-or-evil The forum is locked but you can still read about how they use the AI so maybe people like to know about it. 🙂

At first I was quite positive about the existence of AI because I thought of AI as a sophisticated tool, but since the existence of image/video generation, I started to see humans as if they were divided into 3 camps.

The pro-AI camp tends to accept AI outright even though in fact they are ignorant and sacrifice the values of life. such as the value obtained from studying (such as When you study, you don't just understand the theory/material, but you also try to hone your literacy, hone your way of thinking, hone your empathy, hone your sensitivity, etc.) but, from what I see, there are many who use AI as a shortcut to get answers, even asking AI to do assignments and even thesis. In my personal opinion, in the long run it will make people lazy and experience brain rot.

Moreover, the existence of AI generates image/video. The creator of AI is very ignorant, because in the process every element & style used is the result of forcibly taking the images of the illustrators. there is no permission or payment, even though art itself is not only about drawing, but in the process you also analyze data, learn theory, experiment with style, color & layout etc the aim of which is to create effective illustrations with messages and narratives that can be effectively conveyed and accepted by anyone who sees them. so that those who see it, not only see it, but it can also touch their hearts.

The worst case is the Ghiblify case, where the creator of Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki, was very disgusted with the image generating technology, because implicitly, those who are pro in AI image/video generate, show where their appreciation of art lies. yes, low.

Furthermore, those who are against the existence of AI can be said to be pessimistic, even though in fact there are several AI technologies that can help. like the technology that was mentioned by @Yue_ and those who are in the opposite position, only see the negative side but do not see the positive side in Ai. I understand that they are afraid that they will be replaced by technology which is still in infancy. but in my personal opinion we will not be replaced by AI, because in the end a product has its own market.

Next, Those who are neutral towards AI are people who are said to be very critical, appreciate technological progress but still try to pay attention to every development and demand goodness in technology. If it is profitable without sacrificing life values, the neutral party will try to understand and accept it. However, if it has a bad influence on life, they will criticize it throught their data, research and etc. It is these neutrals who can see the potential and dangers of AI objectively.

so it can be concluded, the existence of this AI has created 3 different camps and with different characteristics of people in each camps. good and bad technology, how to create it, how to use it. But, not all tools will be truly useful and necessary, I am most disgusted with people who create tools that are only destroys the values of anything in life. So, like it or not, it's all depends on you. would you be that ignorant? or pessimistic? or critical person? how will the next generation be, the choice is on you

remembering, humans themselves are not only born as individuals with their rights, but also as social beings who need to help, think, and be useful to those around them, who have the burden of responsibility to preserve nature. Yes, humans are not born as selfish creatures.

I use chat gpt. for things like assignments and translations. there are many that use chat gpt and they talk to some bots that represent their favorite characters. I don't do this. they also get attached to the bots and it's very miserable. many people use those bots for sexual stuff also. bruh,I think it's fucking up people's brains. I have a friend that instead of going to a real therapist uses a bot that is a ''therapist'' on chat gpt. and she has the possibility of going to a real therapist but prefers chat gpt. so miserable, and the ones that actually get feelings for those bots need serious help. and trust me many people do.
