I started this topic because @Parsaa said something about Iran, and i thought it might be interesting if everybody tells something about his/her country.

Doesnt matter if you write it yourself ore if it comes from Wikipedia or so.

I think this is a VERY good idea!!! For Iran and The Netherlands we have forums and i think with this forum of Mare they make it more complete.

➡️ So this is about Iran: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/1-politics-and-governments/10988-republic-islamic-and-kingdom-of-iran

➡️ And this is about The Netherlands: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/9772-the-dutch-forum

And i will write later more about The Netherlands but i can tell already that Dutch people are TALLLL!!!!! They are like giraffes and i feel like a mouse with them. But my mom says it is bc they eat A LOTTTT and many dishes have potatoes. But i think now Dutch people eat EVERYTHING also for example Italian food or sushi or poke bowls or American or Chinese food. They eat everything. @Simone724 and @Pennarossa2024 said before that Italian people eat a lot which is true. BUTTT i think Dutch people eat even more!!!

I'll later too about Romania 🙂, though i do know this isnt my country, it does feel like ny homecountry 🙂

I didn't know this until joining this website and interacting with Yue and others.

As of 2023, more than 22 percent of people in the United States spoke a language other than English at home. California had the highest share among all U.S. states, with 45 percent of its population speaking a language other than English at home.

Thank you @NewTravelerInTown 🙂

Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a Western European country located on the North Sea and bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. The country has an area of 30,689 km²[6] and a population of over 11.7 million inhabitants (over 6.8 million in the Flemish Region, 3.7 million in the Walloon Region and 1.2 million in the Brussels-Capital Region).[7] Brussels is the capital of Belgium and also the administrative centre of the European Union and NATO.The country has three official languages: almost sixty percent of the population speaks Dutch, mainly in Flanders, forty percent speaks French, mainly in Wallonia and Brussels, and less than one percent speaks German, in the East Cantons. The cultural and linguistic diversity of the country has led, through a succession of state reforms, to a complex political system, in which in principle the territorial powers – such as the economy, employment and infrastructure – lie with the Regions (Flemish, Walloon and Brussels), and the personal matters – such as education, culture and welfare – with the Communities (Flemish, French and German-speaking), with an overarching federal government for the entire territory, responsible for, among other things, defence, justice and social security. the national anthem is brabanconne

Thank you @Fleurke 🤗 (i can see this is coppied from wikipedia😉)

China,[i] officially the People's Republic of China (PRC),[j] is a country in East Asia. With a population exceeding 1.4 billion, it is the second-most populous country after India, representing 17.4% of the world population. China spans the equivalent of five time zones and borders fourteen countries by land[k]across an area of nearly 9.6 million square kilometers (3,700,000 sq mi), making it the third-largest country by land area.[l] The country is divided into 33 province-level divisions: 22 provinces,[m] 5 autonomous regions, 4 municipalities, and 2 semi-autonomous special administrative regions. Beijing is the country's capital, while Shanghaiis its most populous city by urban area and largest financial center.

Romania[b] is a country located at the crossroads of Central, Eastern and Southeast Europe. It borders Ukraine to the north and east, Hungary to the west, Serbia to the southwest, Bulgaria to the south, Moldova to the east, and the Black Sea to the southeast. It has a mainly continental climate, and an area of 238,397 km2 (92,046 sq mi) with a population of 19 million people. Romania is the twelfth-largest country in Europe and the sixth-most populous member state of the European Union. Europe's second-longest river, the Danube, empties into the Danube Delta in the southeast of the country. The Carpathian Mountains cross Romania from the north to the southwest and include Moldoveanu Peak, at an altitude of 2,544 m (8,346 ft). Bucharest is the country's largest urban area and financial centre. Other major urban areas include Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Iași, Constanța and Brașov.

Seeing the fact about China being 17.4% of the world's population and India being more populous is eye opening to me. I've never thought about the fact that more than 1 out of every 3 humans on the planet are either Indian or Chinese.

Ok so we have mafia in italy
