I know how embarrasing it can be. At the worst situations, when I laugh, I have snot coming out of my nose. 😂 But one day it happened in front of my teachers 😳😳 they were complimenting me on my work, and I was so shy I laughed and when I laughed it came out 😵

Sometimes people don't even pay attention. I know some people will laugh for sure, but I know they won't laugh as much when it's them! 😅 However, what would make me happy would be for somepeople to come help me and see if I'm okay. That's the least a person can do ! 🙂

It already happened to me at school.

I realized that after arriving at the High School that my zipper had a problem and was opening again a few minutes after closing it. I said to myself "yeah, whatever... I'll manage it on my own". Then comes the French class where I have to recite a poem, standing up, in front of everyone... I pull down my sweater so that no one sees, and I recite the poem... And then some people start laughing until having red faces, to the point of talking while I recite... And then I understood.

I hated that people instead of concentrating on the poem preferred to look at the worst place and have a laugh... 😠 I mean instead of laughing like jesters, why couldn't people warn me or just keep silent ??? Fortunately a friend of mine told it to me when I came back sitting. But yeah. Definitely embarrassing.

But which is the worst for you like SUPERRR embarrassing @john_z?? Very funny that almost all happened!!

So I'm not really embarrassed anymore. Even if something happens to me that could actually be embarrassing, I laugh about it because it's probably a part of me. For example, I walk around the flat while brushing my teeth. When I forget that I'm only wearing underwear and neighbours see me, I probably laugh about it the most.

But there are things that make me really uncomfortable. Most of them are just little things. For example, if I haven't greeted someone carefully enough, I spend the whole day worrying about it and feel like I haven't done something right.

I think that having a shorter paper line would be more embarassing than a long one. After a certain length, it's rather comical in my opinion. Shorter also happened to me and no shame here. My only fault was to assume that people wouldn't leave it on the ground and didn't pay enough attention where I walked (I prefer that than a dog poop still).

Like for 2️⃣ , I'm kind of dumb and this kind of things would happen from time to time. I'd have no problem with that. I also can control my sneeze the time to put back my spoon or swallow in time (Although there is always a rest of food in mouth, so better take the 1st option ahahah).

Getting to the bathroom for the big duty, especially when it doesn't feels right in your bowel and; you know, makes some weird and loud sounds... with people near the bathroom and who can hear everything. I think that would be embarassing for many people. It happened to me with a few people I spent days with.

Most embarassing in my opinion though is when you get sick and people worry for you and feel the need to call a doctor or get medications. That also happened to me, before I show that I was really sick again, which was more embarassing and pushed the people to call a doctor/give me medicine.

You're right, this is a design flaw that makes it impossible to quote older messages unless you manually copy/paste text. I'll think about a solution

For the story, I once spread ramens on the face of a girl because I couldn't eat them properly with chopsticks. It made me laugh more than it made me embarassed, although I was sorry to be so incompetent. People; especially the ones you are close enough for those things to happen, are generally indulgent enough to forgive you and not getting mad too quickly 🙂
