Haha very good @Sabri_KC!! Tomorrow is KING'S DAY!!! So what happens is everybody can wear orange or Dutch flags on your face. You dont have to be completely like an orange but at least orange socks or a shirt or skirt or anything that shows orange. And in parks you can put down a blanket and sell stuff like old clothes or books or small children perform like dancing or singing and they get money for it. And it is nice to walk in cities like Amsterdam and there are food stands and normally the King and Queen and their family visit a city. But tomorrow is also the funeral of the Pope so i am not sure whether they will do that tomorrow.
So if ANYBODY visits The Netherlands tomorrow you have to wear orange too!! π

Nooooo!!!! We are free on Kings Day!!! But now it is on a Saturday but if it is during the week we are FREE!!!! π₯³π₯³

And with Germany I know about the day that people dress in German clothes and drink beer and sing songs!! But i dont know the name of that day!! π But is there another important day? Ooh trust me, a Presidentβs day in France would very quickly turn into a riot π especially in the current political context.
We have the 14th of July, true, itβs about the FΓͺte de la FΓ©dΓ©ration which happened exactly 1 year after bastille day.
We do have beautiful fireworks at night, and a huge military parade in Paris (I can even hear the planes of the parade in my city !) and thatβs it. But it doesnβt sound as exciting as King's day in the Netherlands. because itβs pretty hot outside and pretty much everyone is in vacation π

Hello Yue, we donβt have a Presidentβs day, because our President is not very important! We have regional party days like the Carnival at the Rhineland or Harbor-days in some northern towns. I think you are talking about the βOktoberfestβ at Munich, which is esch year in September!π€£ many greetings

My aunt asked me if i can be with her on the vrijmarkt so we did that and sold a LOTTT of stuff!! I earned more than 35 Euros but i bought a cap for my dad from Red Bull bc he is a big fan of Max Verstappen. He thinks it looks cool and is happy with it and i think it is fine too. But my mom says his head is like a football if he wears a cap! π

@LandRoverDiscovery2 my aunt sold the most like CDs aand books and i thought nobody would buy CDs still but i was wrong and she sold them for 1 Euro for every CD. And she also sold Chinese decorations like for example a mini poster in a small frame or with caligraphy. and i sold old clothes that i do not wear anymore and i had DIY crafts sets but some i think are better for small children so they could get it for like 0,50 cents or 1 Euro and they were very happy with it and i dont use that anymore. So they were happy and i was happy bc i have now more space again. My room is not really big and we dont have a lot of space for storing stuff so it really helps and in this way we dont throw it away but others use it now. ππ

The vrijmarkt is only for children of a certain age, as you need to put the kraam on their name. At least I can't do it anymore because I'm "too old for it". I went to the city to get some ice cream and walk around to see all the orange. There was a photography competition, so I joined that. π That's very nice of you to get that cap for your dad. π

Oh, a photography competition sounds nice. Here they had a choir in the morning with songs atleast 100 years old π In the afternoon they had bands playing metallica, so it was a bit of a contradiction π
