I think that next year all members of this Dutch forum should walk in a Dutch street and sing the song at each house for candies and sweets. That will be very funny because it is not very small children and they dont expect that. But it would be fun i think! π πThat would be fun haha. I think they'd get a hard time remembering the songs tho!! ππAnd @Piwipete can also speak Dutch and @Sabri_KC is also learning things so it would be very nice!! @-Kiki-, @Fleurke and i can train you and also the other members of this forum! π

Last weekend i completely forgot that the BIGGGGGEST Dutch celebration for children started. It is the time that Sinterklaas came with the steam boat from Spain to The Netherlands. And he has helpers (Pieten) and they give special candies (pepernoten) and other sweets to children. And on 5 December it is his birthday and children get several presents. Before that day they can put their shoe at a fire place or at a window and in the evening they get a chocolate letter (of the first letter of their name) or small gifts.

I do lootjes with my family! It has become a tradition since we don't do it at school anymore. πΌ
Did anybody who celebrated it yesterday had a nice time and get nice gifts? π I got from Rituals the Sakura body cream (Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom) even when it was little bit more expensive than 10 Euros!! π₯°π₯° I use most of times with 0% because it is better for the skin but this is really nice too so it is a very nice gift and i told him that!! But because you have a lootje it is always a surprise who has to buy you a gift until everybody got it! π

I celebrated it and i got sweets like chocolate and a kpop album i wanted but my grandma got something for me too again and i donβt know what it is yet
