Short Mountain Bike Ride -- A Sand Journey
Over the past week, much to the chagrin of my few friends,
I’ve been a bit out of touch — on Penpal-Gate. Well, every
now and then I get swept up in a burst of energy. Is it old
age, the feeling 'running-out-of-time', or....
Resolve and Decisions should be tailored to the opportunities
available. My body is still quite fit, so over the last few days, in
temperatures of 30°C and above, I cycled down the mountain,
enjoyed the lake, and then cycled back up again.
Ayda is one of the few friends I’ve so far had the pleasure of
getting to know ‘only’ here online. This forum is dedicated
especially to her, though not exclusively.
I love sand and as a Diving Fan and Teacher for Apnoe, I had
a lot of opportunities to collect samples from all over the world.
Each sand has its own story to tell and the way I come to it is,
of course, another story entirely. This is one of those stories....

Lake Constance is huge. I stared my Diving Carrier in it.
2007 I finished my first Scuba-Exam. Its behavior is more
like that of an ocean and in the summer it is pitch black
when you go down a few metres. The shores are quite
different.North-West we find sand easy. Those shores
in Swiss Side are almost all stone. Between Bregenz
and Lindau we find shell and 'sand' made out of it.
