The Stupa in Allgäu ... near Lake Alpsee


It was a wonderful and exhausting journey,
last Monday and very spontane.

The stupa at the Europe Centre is a Stupa of Enlightenment.
It symbolises the moment when the historical Buddha,
Shakyamuni, fully realised the nature of his mind.

The location of the Stupa was determined according to traditional rules.
It lies roughly in the centre of Lake Alpsee, surrounded by woodland and
accessible to the public via footpaths above the Hochreute estate.

Harvest Time

So on Monday I made a spontaneous trip to the Oberallgäu.

My original motivation was to visit the Alpsee once again and
also to pinch a few grams of sand from it. As is so often the
case in life, however, that was ‘merely’ the pretext. What really
moved me was the call of destiny. The year is now in its harvest
phase and, as I have often emphasised:

"It is now time to tackle the root causes and regard the symptoms
as pointing the way. True healing does NOT come about through
a healer or a remedy. It is ALWAYS about remedying the lack of
awareness … awakening awareness of the state of deficiency.... "

It is understandable to seek the Buddha in a statue or in a temple.
Shakyamuni’s idea, however, was to help those who wish to free
themselves from the cycle of cause and effect. Whichever path
the seeker chooses, Shakyamuni’s message remains valid and
unchanged:

All that exists is an illusion. Including our sensations, thoughts and ideas.

My journey to the European headquarters was both beautiful and
exhausting. Autumn in the Allgäu is truly enchanting when the sun
shines and casts its light.

Upon arriving at Alpsee, I finally made my way up to the Buddhist
Centre of Europe, where I was given a very warm welcome. It was
a day unlike any other. Entering the Great Hall and being allowed
to linger there for half an hour felt like an initiation. In this Hall
the transmissions and meditations take place.

Sitting in the garden afterwards and meditating for a while shed
light on my spiritual journey of the last four decades.

> It was quieter than it had ever been before.

> Frightening and exhilarating at the same time.

Well, now everything feels like a full circle, and I am certain that I will
NEVER AGAIN merely 'alleviate' symptoms. From now on, my entire
existence is dedicated to the development of consciousness.

According to my very small experience, I would say when we trust awareness/ God and we leave ourselves in its hands, it automatically removes the symptoms, like a surgery on us! We dont have to think about it, decide for it or control it.

The magical code is we should be lost in his love and light. Otherwise, mind/ ego doesnt let us accept whatever happens on "the path".

Maybe some people refuse to step on this path (even those who believe that God has streched his hand to them) simply because they want to be in charge and control, instead of trusting HIM...
