PART II
6: What kind of food do you like to cook the most? And if somebody from PPG comes to visit: what dish would you make? And what was the best restaurant that you visited EVER and why? Are there things that you DON'T like to eat?
Thank you, Yue, for such wonderful questions again. I really enjoy eating Arabic food, as well as Italian. I love cooking and have a chef's diploma. I spend hours in the kitchen and love the aromas of spices. If someone from PPG were to visit, I would prepare couscous or mutton tagine with plums. What I absolutely do not like to eat are offal, liver, brains, stomach, intestines, cow's tail, etc. That is not for me, although I would like to try haggis sometime, hehehe, that is a Scottish dish.
7: If there is something that u can change in your country Belgium and it would work: what would you change? And do you think that Belgium is better now than in the past or do u think that it is getting worse? And are u worried a lot about where u live or not really?
I don't worry about where I live; there are issues everywhere. One person complains about it being too expensive, another about too much rain or being too hot, but hey, what can we change about it? Nothing. So I'll just stay positive, because we still live well here. We have jobs, we get paid if we are sick for an extended period, and there is no war. What I would change in Belgium is that we currently contribute a large portion of our salaries to the royal family. I would change that because they are rich enough. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with our royal family, but it is we who pay for this. Also, I would keep a closer eye on who benefits from social housing. There is a waiting list spanning years, and most of those living there now have a house in their country of origin, which is not allowed. Furthermore, many people (especially women) do not work, meaning they can enjoy many benefits and simply stay at home. That is not what social housing was built for.
Was it better in Belgium in the past? I think there was more empathy, more contact with neighbors. Now it’s a matter of quickly saying hello to the neighbors when you see them and inside your own house. I remember when I was younger, the neighbors would sit together at the front door and help each other. Now I mostly see a lot of jealousy: 'Look, this neighbor has a nicer car' or 'This one can travel more'—that is what I hear anyway.
8: What kind of series and films do you like to watch and why? What is the best movie that u ever saw and do u go to the cinema often? And if there was a movie about YOUR life then which actress would u like to play YOU? And did u ever have a crush on an actor in a movie? 😛
Ooo yue I love a lot of series and movies, that varies, Turkish series, true stories, horrors, thrillers, action movies, Indian films, Bollywood, animated films and high-quality arthouse titles, European cinema and documentaries. I don't go to the cinema very often, but I do watch a lot of Netflix. There are two films that I found absolutely beautiful and have watched multiple times: The Green Mile and Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress I would love to play is Angelina Jolie; who didn't fall in love with an actor as a girl, hahaha? Of course I did. Daniel, he played in Karate Kid. His real name is Ralph Macchio. Lou Diamond Phillips he played in La Bamba (Richie). Hahaha Erik Estrada. Acteur he played in serie chips and the last one is the best Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries omg.
9: Do you have any anxieties like spiders or heights or strange things? And what do u normally do if u feel that way? And are u afraid to eat certain things or watch certain movies?
The only fear I have is leaving my children behind if I die now; I could really have a panic attack then, because they only have me, so I hope I may live on in good health for a long time until they are standing on their own two feet. Furthermore, I am afraid of being buried alive, of drowning, or of being burned alive in a fire. As a child, I once heard a car burn out with people inside; I will never forget their screams. I try to stay calm during a panic attack; I haven't had these anxiety attacks for very long. I am certainly not afraid to watch certain films; I prefer watching horror when it is stormy outside, pitch black, and very loud. I am not afraid to eat something, but I will never eat eggs with the duckling or chick still inside, nor any insects.
10: Which biggest plans do u have for the future? If u could see how u live in 10 or 20 years: would u do that? And if u can ask yourself a question in the future: would you do that and if yes what would you ask? And would you go back in time to talk with yourself when you were 5 and if yes what would you say or ask or do?
I don't have big plans for the future, just to be happy and healthy and for my children to have a good life with a good and reliable partner and a job. I don't want to be able to see where I stand in 10 or 20 years; I'll just let that happen. I also don't want to ask my future self any questions. However, I would like to wish myself a partner who genuinely loves me for who I am. I would certainly go back in time to my 5-year-old self and want to tell her it isn't your fault, that I love her, and that she should run away with her sisters.
Thank you, dear Yue, for the beautiful questions.
Thank you VERY MUCH for the answers @Fleurke!!!! 🙏🙏😊🥰 I will soon make the NEXT part and anybody who wants can also ask questions or post comments if they want. 🌈🌞🌈
awww i just read the interview and it's so heartwarming, especially there are certain part that made me like 'awwww'. there are about you sharing with the local of your chocolate. at least in my city, gesture like that are so rare, especially we as asian, idk why maybe shy or we are too busy and individualistic to do that. What a cute of you auntie @Fleurke
And second, about you worry to leave your kids. but yea honestly it's a bit triggered me like yeaa i also worry if my mom left me. like, i wish she's healthy, happy, safe and sounds that's the reason of why i rarely tell any sad stories about some of my days, i only tell to her about the happy part only cause i'm scared it'll damage her mental. I wish that i can give her happiness only, not a burden.
Thank you for sharing this cute interview, i'm looking forward for it😇

PART III
11: What is your fashion style if u have something really important like a wedding or super big party? And what kind of comfy things do u normally like to wear in your free time? And do you like make ups for each day or only special moments? And what about jewelry, tattoos or piercings or gadgets?
Hi Yue, thanks for the well-thought-out questions. I love wearing "old money" style when I have to go to a party or occasion. I love classic and stylish clothing, but in my free time it's a tracksuit or jeans with a sweater and sneakers. I don't wear makeup, just a good day cream and always kohl and mascara. Personally, I don't think too much makeup looks good on people. I love people's faces. I think tattoos and piercings look very nice on other people, but not for myself. I always wear earrings (usually pearls) and a nice wristwatch. I have a lot of beautiful jewelry, but I don't wear it 🙂 My 15-year-old daughter likes using my jewelry now. A cap for football is the only gadget I use. Oh, and a beautiful scarf that my son once brought home as a gift for me.
12: Which kind of music do you like the most? And did you ever go to concerts? Who would you like to see in a concert the most? And do you play a music instrument and if no what kind of instrument would you like to learn to play?
My favorite music is both 90s R&B and... classical music, for example Beethoven, but really loud. I also really like other music; there is always music playing at my house. Unfortunately, because I had to be independent at a very young age, I never went to concerts.
13: How was your time in high school and what did u like the MOST and the LEAST as subjects and why? And are schools now in Belgium really different from in the past? Do you still have contact with friends from school?
I didn't have a nice time at school, I was bullied badly. I'm not going to say much about that, you know, but I do want to write that to you privately. When I turned 16, I worked for three weeks and went to school for one week; that was called an apprenticeship back then, and I slept at a boarding school in Ypres. I did have a good time there and I got my diploma. I have sporadic contact with people from school; they are acquaintances, but not friends. I liked the practical cooking and service classes the most (I was at a hotel school). The least liked subjects were math and French. I really like speaking French, but that teacher was so strict, wow. I think schools are better than they used to be because they take better care of children now: student counselors, someone who is there in case someone gets bullied.
They also notice more when something is wrong or not right in a home situation; unfortunately, that wasn't the case in my time. Sadly, there are so many young people in our region who commit suicide, and that breaks my heart.
I liked the school trips.
14: What life lesson did you learn that was the hardest? And what is the most beautiful moment of your life and why? Is there a day that you want to live again if you could?
I have learned two life lessons. The first was and is the hardest: what was done to you in your youth is not your fault! The second is that you cannot please everyone. I am still working on the second one daily. Eventually, I was controlled by people who took advantage of my kindness, who claimed me, sucked the life out of me, and dumped their frustrations and ailments on me. Mind you, don't misunderstand me; I love it when people trust me and talk to me, but it has to be reciprocal, for example, when I'm having a bad day I also want to be able to say something about how I feel hihi sorry. Do you understand? That is why I say to parents and schools: invest in your children's well-being, help them stand strong, talk to them. If they don't want to talk to you, seek help where they can, so that our children are strong in this harsh world.
15: If you would go to the wedding of @mayuuram what would you like to give her as present? And if you would go for the birthday of @Simone724 or @Sabri_KC for example what would you give as present? And what is the most beautiful gift anybody gave to you ever (except like for example your children that they were born)!!! 😛 😛
The most beautiful moment in my life was the birth of my 3 children. They are my happiness, my oxygen. As a single mom, I sacrifice a lot for myself so they can pursue their interests and buy what they like. I also invest in their well-being. My 15-year-old daughter sees a psychologist, and we have tutoring as well. I am proud of myself and of them. My 3 little humans are doing great: one son plays soccer, the oldest does fitness, and the daughter gives boxing lessons. Everyone in my private life says I am an excellent mom. I still doubt it sometimes myself because I didn't want to end up as a single mom, but they always say: "Mom, you are our family!" Damn, now that I'm typing this, I'm crying.
Want to relive a day again? Then that would be the birth of my 3 children all over again, and the last day of my grandma and grandpa on their deathbed. I would want to tell them even more, hug them even more, and give them even more kisses. You don't know this, but they raised me. Because of THEM, I got my diploma, and because of THEM, I had a great start.
First and foremost, I hope that on @mayuuram's path there is a good, reliable, honest, cheerful, strong, and hard-working husband. As a gift, I would be extravagant because we are both Leos 🙂 (a beautiful detail: my late grandmother had the same birthday as Mayuuram), but I think I would give her husband a book on how to be a good husband to my wife, hahaha
I would have a beautiful piece of jewelry made for her with ruby, citrine, and tiger's eye. Those are stones that suit the Leo horoscope, and also include her birthstone peridot, because that stone has a protective and activating effect.
I find @Simone724 a very friendly young man and also very smart. I would give him multiple gifts for his birthday. I know he likes nice weather, so I am giving him a weekend in Mexico, a baby turtle, and also one football ticket (match of his choice).
For @Sabri_KC, that is not difficult; he is a very smart and friendly young man, fascinated by flags and castles. I would give him a beautiful, unique book about flags and a weekend plus overnight stay at the most beautiful castles in Europe.
The most beautiful gift of sentimental value is from my grandmother; I received her gold locket with a lion (horoscope) on it, and my oldest son let me join him on the balloon flight I bought for his 16th birthday. I bought two tickets, one for him and one for a friend. He said, "I'm taking you with me, Mom, because you are always there for me and I want to experience this flight together."
Whooppss i forgot to copy and paste some answers in the interview of the last question but i edited it above so now everything is complete!!! 😛 😛 And i think u get super broke because now i just asked 3 friends for the last questions but if u buy also presents for all the other friends like who wrote in this interview forum above we need to help u not to get super broke!!!!!! 🙃😄😄🤪😇

Candlelight concert omg I want to go there so badly, preferably alone or maybe on a date 🙂 but then the date would have to be pretty quiet during the concert hahaha, I can't play a single note on a musical instrument and I would love to learn to play the violin or piano but the teacher said that to learn to play the violin I should have started earlier, I don't feel too old to learn to play another instrument.📸️
