My daughter doesn't teach boxing, she takes lessons. π
PART III
11: What is your fashion style if u have something really important like a wedding or super big party? And what kind of comfy things do u normally like to wear in your free time? And do you like make ups for each day or only special moments? And what about jewelry, tattoos or piercings or gadgets?
Hi Yue, thanks for the well-thought-out questions. I love wearing "old money" style when I have to go to a party or occasion. I love classic and stylish clothing, but in my free time it's a tracksuit or jeans with a sweater and sneakers. I don't wear makeup, just a good day cream and always kohl and mascara. Personally, I don't think too much makeup looks good on people. I love people's faces. I think tattoos and piercings look very nice on other people, but not for myself. I always wear earrings (usually pearls) and a nice wristwatch. I have a lot of beautiful jewelry, but I don't wear it π My 15-year-old daughter likes using my jewelry now. A cap for football is the only gadget I use. Oh, and a beautiful scarf that my son once brought home as a gift for me.
12: Which kind of music do you like the most? And did you ever go to concerts? Who would you like to see in a concert the most? And do you play a music instrument and if no what kind of instrument would you like to learn to play?
My favorite music is both 90s R&B and... classical music, for example Beethoven, but really loud. I also really like other music; there is always music playing at my house. Unfortunately, because I had to be independent at a very young age, I never went to concerts.
Candlelight concert omg I want to go there so badly, preferably alone or maybe on a date π but then the date would have to be pretty quiet during the concert hahaha, I can't play a single note on a musical instrument and I would love to learn to play the violin or piano but the teacher said that to learn to play the violin I should have started earlier, I don't feel too old to learn to play another instrument.πΈοΈ
13: How was your time in high school and what did u like the MOST and the LEAST as subjects and why? And are schools now in Belgium really different from in the past? Do you still have contact with friends from school?
I didn't have a nice time at school, I was bullied badly. I'm not going to say much about that, you know, but I do want to write that to you privately. When I turned 16, I worked for three weeks and went to school for one week; that was called an apprenticeship back then, and I slept at a boarding school in Ypres. I did have a good time there and I got my diploma. I have sporadic contact with people from school; they are acquaintances, but not friends. I liked the practical cooking and service classes the most (I was at a hotel school). The least liked subjects were math and French. I really like speaking French, but that teacher was so strict, wow. I think schools are better than they used to be because they take better care of children now: student counselors, someone who is there in case someone gets bullied.
They also notice more when something is wrong or not right in a home situation; unfortunately, that wasn't the case in my time. Sadly, there are so many young people in our region who commit suicide, and that breaks my heart.
I liked the school trips.
14: What life lesson did you learn that was the hardest? And what is the most beautiful moment of your life and why? Is there a day that you want to live again if you could?
I have learned two life lessons. The first was and is the hardest: what was done to you in your youth is not your fault! The second is that you cannot please everyone. I am still working on the second one daily. Eventually, I was controlled by people who took advantage of my kindness, who claimed me, sucked the life out of me, and dumped their frustrations and ailments on me. Mind you, don't misunderstand me; I love it when people trust me and talk to me, but it has to be reciprocal, for example, when I'm having a bad day I also want to be able to say something about how I feel hihi sorry. Do you understand? That is why I say to parents and schools: invest in your children's well-being, help them stand strong, talk to them. If they don't want to talk to you, seek help where they can, so that our children are strong in this harsh world.
15: If you would go to the wedding of @mayuuram what would you like to give her as present? And if you would go for the birthday of @Simone724 or @Sabri_KC for example what would you give as present? And what is the most beautiful gift anybody gave to you ever (except like for example your children that they were born)!!! π π
The most beautiful moment in my life was the birth of my 3 children. They are my happiness, my oxygen. As a single mom, I sacrifice a lot for myself so they can pursue their interests and buy what they like. I also invest in their well-being. My 15-year-old daughter sees a psychologist, and we have tutoring as well. I am proud of myself and of them. My 3 little humans are doing great: one son plays soccer, the oldest does fitness, and the daughter gives boxing lessons. Everyone in my private life says I am an excellent mom. I still doubt it sometimes myself because I didn't want to end up as a single mom, but they always say: "Mom, you are our family!" Damn, now that I'm typing this, I'm crying.
Want to relive a day again? Then that would be the birth of my 3 children all over again, and the last day of my grandma and grandpa on their deathbed. I would want to tell them even more, hug them even more, and give them even more kisses. You don't know this, but they raised me. Because of THEM, I got my diploma, and because of THEM, I had a great start.
First and foremost, I hope that on @mayuuram's path there is a good, reliable, honest, cheerful, strong, and hard-working husband. As a gift, I would be extravagant because we are both Leos π (a beautiful detail: my late grandmother had the same birthday as Mayuuram), but I think I would give her husband a book on how to be a good husband to my wife, hahaha
I would have a beautiful piece of jewelry made for her with ruby, citrine, and tiger's eye. Those are stones that suit the Leo horoscope, and also include her birthstone peridot, because that stone has a protective and activating effect.

I find @Simone724 a very friendly young man and also very smart. I would give him multiple gifts for his birthday. I know he likes nice weather, so I am giving him a weekend in Mexico, a baby turtle, and also one football ticket (match of his choice).
For @Sabri_KC, that is not difficult; he is a very smart and friendly young man, fascinated by flags and castles. I would give him a beautiful, unique book about flags and a weekend plus overnight stay at the most beautiful castles in Europe.
The most beautiful gift of sentimental value is from my grandmother; I received her gold locket with a lion (horoscope) on it, and my oldest son let me join him on the balloon flight I bought for his 16th birthday. I bought two tickets, one for him and one for a friend. He said, "I'm taking you with me, Mom, because you are always there for me and I want to experience this flight together."
Thank you, dear Yue, they were beautiful questions that also made me cry when I had to write down the answers.

For @alegzander his present will be 1 night with some ppg members including me hihi for a karaoke evening
awww, honestly, as a friend, a niece, a person, if i care about someone, and if i love that person, i never ask that person for an extravagant gifts or something fancy, their existence are more than enough. Deep down honestly I've always wondered why some people demand gifts from others on their wedding day, as if the party were a form of transaction and gifts or money were the means of transaction.
Personally, I see a wedding as a moment for sharing gratitude and joy for the success in finally getting married, so I think it's more intimate when only those close to me and whom I truly love attend. They don't need to bring anything, just themselves. This allows us to interact and chat in celebration. A pray totally enough as long as it's something that came from heart. it doesn't means gift are non-valuable but more of, i don't like to make people carry the burden with such expectations. And thankyou for considerating me as always @Fleurke hope our friendship still last till we meet in real life! πβ¨
@Pennarossa2024 @shirazikira hahahahahaha
PART IV
16: If you have an ideal day for yourself alone and you want to treat yourself nice: what would be the ideal day for you?
The ideal me-time day: I do that sometimes and itβs not even expensive. I drop the kids off at school, take the train to the coast, buy a sandwich, and take the ferry across to a very large and long beach where I enjoy the beach, the sea water, the sea air, and collect shells. That is real me-time. I am always on time to pick the kids up from school. The second me-time is taking the kids to school and taking the train to Brussels. OMG yeah, I love Brussels! The tourists, the food, the shops, the old buildings, the different neighborhoods, e.g., Matonge, Rue de Brabant, ChaussΓ©e d'Grand, Grand Place, the Palace, the Sonian Forest, the Anatomy. I can't get enough of it. Sometimes I just sit on the Grand Place and chat with tourists. The third me-time is regularly getting massages, cupping, or floating treatments. That is, then, real self-care.
17: What is the most special thing that you have at home from when u were a child? And is your home now a lot like how your home was when you were with your parents? Which room do you like the most of your house and why? If you got an extra room in your house: what would you use it for?
I have a ship that you had to assemble yourself, a model kit; that is an heirloom from my grandparents, as well as an old bonbonniere and small vase from my grandmother's grandmother.
My house doesn't look at all like the house where I lived as a child; we lived in a bigger place than where I live now, but I am happy in my house. I like all the rooms, but my favorite is the living room. It is a place with lots of daylight, a place where I relax, do crafts with the kids, read a book, listen to music, entertain friends, and play board games with my kids.
18: Do you worry a lot? And if yes what do you worry about and what do you do to stop getting too worried? And are your children the same way or super zen or different?
Of course I worry a lot. First of all, I always think of my children and hope to live a long time until I know they are fully settled. I worry about what is happening in the world right now, how much hate there is, how people no longer communicate, how external beauty is becoming so important instead of inner beauty, how people judge and condemn so quickly, lies are believed and truths are seen as lies, there is no empathy anymore. I think about that a lot. I don't stop thinking, but I do go to the sea a lot, do refloat, cupping, etc. to de-stress. Everyone who really knows me knows that I am a walking Duracell bunny, hahaha.
19: Which part of the week and which part of the weekend do you always look forward to the MOST and WHY? And is there something that you will do this year that you have never done before?
I like all days of the week and weekends, only when the youngest was a bit naughty on the weekend do I look forward to Monday morning (school day) haha. I love the weekdays because you have different conversations at work than at home, and I love the weekends to spend time with my children, more time in my kitchen, bigger breakfasts, fun outings.
I definitely want to jump out of a plane this year, though with a parachute π
20: If there is one dream of yourself that could come true now immediately!!! Which dream would you want to come true?
Ooo, a dream that would come true instantly: my children and I living in a valley with a babbling brook, a beautiful farm with animals, and seeing my kids happy in life.
Bonus question: Can I update the interview and can people ask more questions later? π Thank you very much for the interview!!!! ππππ₯°
Of course people can ask me questions, but there are few here who talk, apart from the regulars I've been talking to for almost two years. Thanks, Yue, you always come up with beautiful, well-thought-out questions..
Thank you very much @Fleurke for this interview!!! π€π₯°π₯° And i will update later with new questions but i want to do that with all interviews!! π π ANDD if anybody wants to ask a question or post a nice comment you can do that below!! β¬οΈβ¬οΈ Thank you very much!!βππ
i have a question for you, auntie:
If, your kids see this interview, what do you want to show the world about them? Is there one or two message you would like to convey, to show about them?
Thanks @Simone724 and @mayuuram I want to show them that they inherited their strength from me and that I enjoy seeing them enjoy life. I want to show them that at their age (7, 15, and 20), I didn't have the life like them. They always have a warm, loving place to come home to where they can be themselves without stress. I want to show them that I love them unconditionally
