Sadly i can't sleep easily, and i always overthink before falling asleep, about good but also bad things

I usually fall asleep right away 🀣🀣

I don't sleep easily because I'm still thinking about what I have to do the next day or I'm daydreaming about someone hhhhh suoer nice forum @Simone724

I think that the tip of @mayuuram is super good @Simone724 and maybe this also helps this forum: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/10062-meditation-yoga-and-stress-free-forum and in the forum i also mentioned the forum of @H_E_A_R_T and that can also help i hope!! πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ€—

Thanks @mayuuram and @Yue_ actually in the past i've already tried to do something similar (like doing some exercises, or going out for a run) but i only was tired physically and couldn't fall asleep easily the same. Sometimes, especially when i wake up very early, i fall asleep without any problem, but most of the times i lay in the bed for at least one hour (or even more) before finally falling asleep.

May I offer one suggestion on something to avoid? Pre-covid I used to travel extensively for work. On a night flight across the Atlantic I was offered β€œminor sleep medication” by a colleague to reduce the (inevitable?) effects of a jetlag. It may work for others (please consult your GP first), but I felt heavily disoriented and looked somewhat similar to a zombie in a suit. Not an ideal start of a meeting on foreign soil. My facial expression was comically repulsive (at best).

Thanks for your opinion @Savi2024 i've never taken sleeping pills or similar medications, because i don't like to take medicines and i only take them when i really need

i think if you started taking sleeping medication to fall asleep then if you stopped using them you would have a even harder time falling asleep once your body is used to the mesication

yes, before taking some sleeping pills, you should first consult a doctor or therapist to get a more appropriate diagnosis and advice to help ur issue. It could be that there are certain conditions that are causing you to have trouble sleeping.

Sleeping pills is better with advice from doctore thats a good point what you say @mayuuram

yes auntie, i knew it because one of my nephew didn't consult first, eh when she stopped take the pills she became more difficult to sleep. that's why we need to consult to get better advice.

I know people who are addicted to those pills πŸ˜”

I have the impression that the creator of this thread has spotted the nuances in my earlier message (avoid…consult your GP…etc). Proper attention to a healthy lifestyle - except for a significant daily dose of coffee - will get you quite well ahead in the proper direction! Good luck to @Simone724!

This you MUST see before sleeping!!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜›
