Tiktok is communist chinese propaganda! Away with this communist rubbish! The Americans are right! I wished, that the German goverment would ban Tiktok too! Go and read a book from an author of the enlightenment like Adam Smith, the best anti-communist in the world! Tiktok is a venon for every free thinking person! Free your mind and have the guts to think by yourself!

Well, that's true, but probably the Chinese websites attempts to direct Chinese people's opinion as well. However, to get back to what you say, yes. This is pretty much a form of soft power. Brainwashing or hurting foreigners is somewhat beneficial to the country that make such an attempt. Surely, you can blame the US equally (if not more) for doing so, and if China is being exposed and people whine about it too, it can also be taken as a sign that your coountry actually have enough power to do so, which is not the case of most of countries (they would gladly do so, if they could).

I absolutely agree with banning TikTok.
Actually, not just in USA, it should get banned worldwide
People waste their entire life and have ridiculous outlooks on life with Social Media (ESPECIALLY TIKTOK)
