Sausage puff pastry rolls

The Ingredients

  • 1 Rectangular Puff Pastry
  • 4 Sausages
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 egg yolk and 1 Tablespoon of milk

Optionnal

  • Nigella or sesame seeds (I prefer nigella but that’s up to you πŸ˜‰)

You’ll need an oven for this recipe

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).
  • Unroll the pastry and brush it with mustard. You can either buy a pre-made pastry if it’s available in your local stores, or make it yourself with a recipe!
  • Place a sausage on the pastry, and roll tightly. Once rolled, cut it in small pieces (maybe the size of your thumb, that’s how I did it)
  • OPTIONNAL : Place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. Cut them into 1.5 cm pieces.
  • Break your egg yolk in a little cup, and mix it a tablespoon of milk. Mix well, and brush each roll with the mixture.
  • OPTIONNAL : Add the nigella/sesame seeds to the rolls, they will stick together thanks to the egg mixture. It adds flavor!
  • Place them on your baking sheet with the parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Once done, get them out of the oven, and enjoy when it’s not too hot ! πŸ˜‹

This is how I made them πŸ™‚ This was back then during Ramadan in 2022. It went fantastic, it was crispy and the sausage added an excellent taste of it. My family loved them ! πŸ˜‚ And I hope you’ll like the recipe too !

Oh, if so, I have a lot of good recipes: since my grandmother cooks very well, my mom and I love to cook too! πŸ˜„

Hello everyone! It's a forum to have fun and ask funny questions πŸ˜πŸ˜‡

πŸ”…The game is that I send several emoticons, everyone chooses one (❗️you can't repeat it❗️). And when all the smileys are busy, I report what each of you has to say. I choose questions right away and I'm NOT focussed on who chose which smiley πŸ˜‡

Here are the smileys:

1) 🧊

2)⛄️

3) 🫧

4)🐁

5) ☁️

6)🐩

7) πŸ‚

8.πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

9) 🐚

10)🍁

11)🌸

12)🍼

13)πŸ™

14)🦴

15)πŸ«–

I hope everyone understands and you will like it πŸ©·πŸ’–πŸ©·

It's better to get out of the proposed ones... I just didn't do the tasks for these...
