No I don't, my real name Is Lorenzo but I'm in love with the name "Lawrence" that Is the English version of my name. That's why I use It for everything

I think it is a very nice name and in my country it also exist but that is not a very big surprise I think! Next year we get German in class so I dont know if you say it differently in German and in Dutch. But if someone is called Annemarie I think we say like Anne or maybe Marie like shorter because that happens a lot with friends that they make the names shorter. 🙂

It's the same here, many people abbreviate with "Anne", but I don't like that at all 😅
I think Dutch and German are similar in name pronunciation, but I don't know for sure...
I love it! Though many people mispronounce it at first, which makes me a bit angry sometimes. So I prefer to have nicknames or something like that because of it. I've only ever met one person who got it right first try, she was my favourite teacher for many reasons, and getting my name right was one of them.
Somehow, but it depends.
