🌍 Tips for Annika in Berlin 🌎

Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️ Today @Annika2007 told me that she will not be on PPG for two weeks because she is visiting Berlin!!! So i wanted to make a forum for her and people can maybe help with three things (also if you dont know Annika please help if you know good tips):

How can you help?

➡️ If you have tips about Berlin, please share them below (for example things to see or do or maybe a nice restaurant or German dishes to eat or things to buy as souvenir)!

➡️ Do you have funny or useful sentences in German that Annika should know and can use to make new German friends?

➡️ If you have no tips, maybe if you know Annika you can just wish her a nice trip or write anything you want for her!!! 😛

In the past we had a Scotland forum for @HappyvomSee, a New York forum for @Roseeeee and Mimi and an Amsterdam forum for @Lawrence11!! I think now Annika deserves a Berlin forum and i will send her as a surprise the link to this forum by e-mail in two days. 😃

Dear Yue, I am out! I visited Berlin once…the „Museumsinsel“ was amazing…but I am more for the country side Germany! Places like the Castle of Mespelbrunn, where I went today after work😎

Unfortunately, I have never been to Berlin. My graduation trip from secondary school would have been to Berlin but it was in the early beginnings of covid so it got canceled. I wish her a nice trip tho!

This castle is 560 km away from Berlin…so isolated that it was never destroyed in war, since its foundation in 1412

I was in Berlin, April 1986 when the Chernobyl accident happened.
It was a school trip and the teachers told us to carry an umbrella for protection when it rains.
Back then there still was the wall and we visited East Berlin "Alexanderplatz".
We also visited the "Museumsinsel" but I don`t remember details.

Deserts: Spaghetti Eis 🤣 is not a joke! But it is not from Berlin. It was invented at Mannheim. It is vanille ice in form of spaghetti, cream,strawberry sauce and white chocolate flakes. It looks like you are eating a dish of spaghetti, but it is ice cream! Berlin dish: Curry wurst! 😃

That is really cool!!! I looked it up on google and i found this:

In Amsterdam there is a shop and you can buy things that you can use to colour food BUTTT it is only for fun and for example that you use it only one time if friends visit you. And you can make for example purple or green rice and if you make noodles you can make them blue. 😃

I’ve been to Berlin when I was about seven years old, and I don’t remember much. But on the internet I saw some pictures of the Molecule Man, it’s a sculpture on the Spree River. I don’t know who the artist was and what he wanted to show with this sculpture. But I think it still looks interesting.
