Maybe you can make an Italian forum and that you get all active people from Italy in that forum who like it. Like for example you, Roseee, Simone of course, Azul, Lawrence and others. 🙂 And if i can use google translate i can also help with the forum of course because it is fun even though i have to use google!! 😃
Quello che penso: credo che questo sito sia più che altro popolato da giovani con cui continuare un’amicizia se sei adulto è impossibile. Credo che gli italiani non ti rispondano perchè vengono in questo sito per conoscere persone internazionali e non sono interessati a conoscere altri italiani. Lo dico perchè mi è successo quando dico a degli italiani qua di essere italiana. Credo che dovresti rimanere qua perchè è comunque un sito divertente ma potresti provare anche degli altri siti magari con più adulti e con più persone
Io sono venuto qui per conoscere persone italiane della mia età ma ho capito che è impossibile. Ho provato altri siti ma sono molto deludenti. Il sito italiano per amici di penna è stato chiuso nel 2023. Quindi rimango qui

My experience is that most people looking for people from abroad, not in same country. If they look for same country its mostly because they are not good in foreign languages or esp. english. On the other hands people from other countries are more interesting, because of different cultures.

I agree with you on everything you wrote. Many men think that this is a dating site. Many women are afraid of being harassed.
I've read about a very interesting test (should be available on YouTube) where women created a fake male account on a dating site and were surprised how less answers they got though they wrote very creative texts and answers.
One dating site even reduced their policies, that only women could contact male advertisements. They realized that the success rate for a match was almost dead.
