➡️ Keep the forum nice

Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️

Last week i spent a LOTTT of time to make this forum: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/10366-is-ai-good-or-evil I did really my best to make it NICE for everybody and to make a lot of effort so that there were nice things to talk about. This morning the forum was destroyed by two members. And now the forum is locked. Thank you very much.

If this happens again i will stop ALL my forums and not make any new ones. I am really angry about this. We have guests now for lunch and i have to pretend that i feel good.

Maybe a simple rule in every forum: RESPECT THE EFFORT PEOPLE MAKE TO MAKE A FORUM NICE!!!

And also:

➡️ Respect the topic

➡️ Keep the language as it is was made

➡️ You dont have to agree with each other BUT BE NICE AND RESPECTFUL

It is a big shame what happened this morning. I hope that this will not happen again and that people will behave and be respectful. If others are not: dont see it as an excuse to destroy forums and get in a stupid and endless fight. Be nice or stay out of the forums if that is too difficult.

No Chris. It is time for you to stop acting this way and that maybe you can start respecting efforts people make. You dont even have the decency to apologize for destroying a forum that you didnt even make. You and liwenbo disrespected everybody who made a nice effort in that forum.

Is it really too much to ask to ACT NICE and RESPECTFUL? Is it so difficult to stop arguing with countless posts in a STUPID FIGHT anywhere you see a chance? Cant you read what @Etienne wrote? Cant you respect what OTHERS are fed up about? Cant you understand why forums are locked everytime you get in a fight? Just because the world is not pink you have an excuse to ignore all that???

@Etienne can you maybe say what you think? Others than Chris agree that Chris and Liwenbo can destroy forums?

If Chris is really right and OTHERS than Chris himself agree with it, i will stop at PPG. I had enough of this behaviour.

Do you dont understand the Background.

I could show you postings where he clearly said "Lets diss Chris wherever he writes something about China." So its equal in which forum I write it, he will follow me.

And innocent he isnt at all, he acts like that. Like writing No Go stuff and delete His Postings or change it short time later.

I didnt look in the locked forum, but im really sorry for @Yue_ because this is the first time shes really angry, and i dont want that to happen again. @TierM38 i want you to have more respect for @Yue_ .

He does everything with a prejudice

Thank you very much for your support Mare @LandRoverDiscovery2. I will not leave PPG but i will STOP with all forums (old and new) if Chris and Liwenbo continue with their fights. I spend hours last week to make the AI forum as nice as possible. I dont know a lot about the topic but because of the docu on Dutch TV i searched online and found things that i hoped people enjoy because we didnt have that kind of forum yet. And Chris and Liwenbo needed not much time to destroy it. Unless they stop doing that to forums of others, I will stop making the efforts because two people can spoil it for everybody.

To Chris and Liwenbo:

And Chris even if what you said is right about Liwenbo, there are three things that you can do:

➡️ Keep being polite and respectful and say you dont agree with what the other said in a polite way. And if necessary report to Etienne.

➡️ Ignore and if necessary report to Etienne.

➡️ Get in an argument for countless posts that deal with the forum topic and for a BIG part not at all in the way you both keep doing every single time. Nobody reads anymore what you both write!!!!! But they also stop reading everything else in that forum. THAT WAY it becomes just spam. And AGAIN this morning with somebody else's forum: forum locked. You both destroy forum topics without even a single apology.

There is no excuse for the third option. That is not just for Chris but also for Liwenbo. But if you both DO think that the third is the best option, people will leave the forum and I will be first.

I suggest deleting political theme

I think political discussions will only make the community more foul

I dont think that is the solution Liwenbo. AI was not even a political topic. But a LOTTTT of topics can be made political.

I think the solution is: be respectful and nice EVEN if you dont agree with each other.

And another suggestion is: Dont spent too much time and effort to created virtual forums
