My best holiday is the trip for the pigeon Island. I like it because I did dive at the first time at there. I didn't buy anything special. But we lost the key of our car..@Yue_

1. well it's not really a holiday, but for me it is as fun as holiday in a week. It's when my team held exhibition and then my bf make an effort to the exhibition (cause it's quite far, like in 450km) and nah, i won't tell the rest, you need at least reach 20 to hear it.
2. yes, a very special one
3. in near time i wanna travel in indonesia, cause it's so big, i haven't much traveled yet

Hello! This is such a great idea for the forum, and I’d love to participate 🌟
1️⃣ The best vacation I’ve ever had was when I visited Khan El Khalili in Cairo. What I loved the most was the traditional atmosphere and the vibrant shops. It was such an exciting and memorable experience!
2️⃣ I brought something special from that trip – a collection of beautiful accessories that I still keep and occasionally wear to remind me of those wonderful moments.
3️⃣ I hope my next vacation will be at the Pyramids. I visited them when I was very young and don’t remember much, so I’d love to explore them again and learn more about their amazing history.

I enjoyed going to the United States in New Jersey to visit a glassblowing school with my family. What I liked the most was when we watched the students shape glass into different projects, it was very interesting to see them do something so difficult while making it seem easy. It was also very relaxing to see jars change shapes. It was very hot though, even with all the doors and windows open...
We brought back a few things, for example my parents bought a very small vase at an auction organized by the school. What I preferred was a handy reacher that my parents bought me though. I got one that was exactly the same a few years ago, the first time we went to the US, but my brother broke it in two because he was mad at me and it made me very sad. So when I saw one that was like my old one, I was very happy that my parents accepted to buy it for me.
It looks black but it's actually dark blue. I'm sorry the lighting is bad in the picture, but you can still see the grab stick so it's fine. I think.
I don't like traveling so much, so my next best holiday could be anywhere for all I know. What I like about travels is the memories you make with your loved ones, so as long as I'm having fun with my family, we could be in a trash bin for all I care.

Ooooo @Yue_ i didt see this forum sorry. my best holiday was in cuba i was able to stay in a new hotel at a great price. what appealed to me is the beautiful old buildings. the old cars as if time stood still in the 1950s. the people are poor but they are sweet and they can dance like the best. nature is so infinitely beautiful. I brought a painting and a necklace of shells and rum and cigars. my next trip will be brazil

1. My best holiday was some years ago, when I went to Turkey with my family and did anything I want 😂
2. I had one good thing: I remember some days 😂 (Which were a really really really painful but meaning ful days)

1. Its sooo hard to choose, so I chose to make a top 3 instead (sorry, haha, I'm super indecisive...)
A) My trip to Iceland (2019, summer holidays)
😎 My trip to a hut in telemark (a state in Norway, 2020, autumn holidays)
C) My trip to Berlin (2024, winterholidays)
What I liked about these trips:
A) Just Iceland in general, travelling with my family, aunt and grandma, the sightseeings we did (riding Icelandic horses, lots of beautiful waterfalls, the nature etc!). Its also one of the few trips I've done outside of Norway/Germany. We spent 10 days, and lived in a cool hut with a Jacuzzi! (Incase anybody cares, I have 2-3 photos of Iceland somewhere in my gallery I believe)
😎 It was nice spending time with my family, the nature (Forest everywhere, mountains, just loneliness... awesome to be gone from everything else for a while!), we also got to do a tour with husky-sledges, it was soooooooo cool! We saw squirrels all the time, and on the last day had lots of snow too. We lived in a really cute hut for that week, it was sooo cozy. There was also a Jacuzzi here!
C) This was my first flight & trip alone. Although I wasn't alone, because I visited my aunt who lives in Berlin. But still, it made me feel independent haha. I just loved being in a big city for once, seeing my aunt (I always love seeing her) and we did lots of nice things. We also saw my other aunt at her birthday and it was super fun although everyone was way older than me and I didn't know half of them. But after this holidays I'm berlin addicted, I flew there again in Autumn 2024 and will be there for 3 weeks next month.
2. Since I was pretty young in Iceland I don't really have much except the memories + photos my mom took. I have some photos from Telemark, but not too much since I took most on my camera, not phone, and idk were the cam is... I also have few photos from Berlin. But mostly just the nice memories!!! Sometimes thats enough.
3. Well, I'm excited to fly to Berlin next month, and probably travel to Germany in Easter & summer. But I really hope to do a trip to Somewhere in eastern Europe soon!!! Maybe not this year, but next, Idk. I'm not 100% sure which country, But I'd love Croatia, Albania something around there!
I feel like I wrote a lot now, so no worries if anybody didn't want to read all this, haha, I maybe wouldn't either. But it was fun to think about the questions and talk about memories!
Of course i read everything @Annika2007!!! It is super nice what you share and now we also had a little bit from the vacations you told about!! 🙂

The husky sledges were so fun! I really recommend to try, haha. Me and my mom sat on the same sledge and at first I was scared to be the one to lead the dogs/sledge, but then I tried and it was soooo fun. My mom got scared tho, because I let the dogs run sas fast as they want too lol.
