Thank you very much Mayuuram that I can interview you!! 🥰🥰 I have 20 questions and i hope that you like them but only answer the questions that you want to answer of course. 🙂

1: How long have you been a member of PPG? And what do you like about the site the most? And what kind of forums do you like to read here? 😊😊

I discovered this site/apps since 2 months ago, it starting from my passion to always make a new friend, cause i think we can't exactly understand about life if we never socialize with diverse people. And with this site, i meet people with different mindset, principle, personality, culture, nationality, etc which is fun to understand things that's new for me.
and about forum in here, i have no specification, in 2 month, i almost take a visit to recent forum. and mostly yours @Yue_ ! haha

2: What do you like the most about your hometown? Have you lived always there and has it changed a lot?

Actually, there's a lot of interesting things in Indonesia, like the diverse cultures (from capital to capital has different languages, culture & specialty), breathtaking view, food (the best food in indo is nasi padang with rendang), etc. And most of it, i always feel homesick because of the difference in food huhu

And after i took a bachelor (it's like 500km from my home, I live in Jakarta and study in Yogyakarta) not much has changed, only new cafes and malls. but it's ok, i still love it!

3: Do you live with your family or not? And do you live in a very busy part of the city or in a more quiet part? Do you want to change where you live in the future or not?

In indonesia, our culture is, as long as we haven't married yet, we must live with our family. no matter what is your beliefs or capital. And either me, i'm still living with them. cause for us, it's sign of love.

And yes, i live in a crowded city (Main Capital of Indonesia). well about moving out, there's a lot of things that i'm still considering, but i'll be glad if i get job and move in either to US, Canada or Netherlands (a lot of my online friend live there, which will be fun!)

4: Do you work or study? And what do you like about it the most?

I'm both study (visual communication & design in biggest & oldest art institute in my country) and do freelance (it's project-based, i'm making stop-motion video, presentation design mostly for school, also a freelance illustrator)

and what i like the most of course when i do some project with my friends, receiving money from it and attending to free orchestra/classical/rock concert in my institute which is dope!

5: Which things did you like the most about high school? Do you still have a lot of friends from that time? And which classes did you like the most?

Of course! Even though only a few and the rest already busy, but high school era is the most precious era for me. Especially the moment that i jammed with my band, have mini concert in high school, and when us (all students) create a prestigious music event that visited by 4000 people! ah i miss it

and yes, my fav subject is sociology, business & management, art, and english literature! and i do love math, but not untill they add integrals 😬

Ofcourse we had! it called Puddin' (suicide squad reference) and in my band, i'm a vocalist, and we often play the popular one at that time, like hall of fame (the script), bring me to life (Evanescence), don't look back in anger (oasis) and some songs from our local band

And Parsa is a great singer 😊

Owww I forgot that but it is true!! And I think that there are a lot more people that play music on PPG but i could only remember the persons i wrote!! But I am curious!! 😛 Maybe you too Lorenzo? 🙂

nahh not really, we already busy with our schedule and things, but we still catching up for like once in a years. and that's truly fine!

Do you have indonesian friend at there? If not, i heard in germany (freiburg) there's community that's filled with indonesian, maybe you can reach them, since indonesian mostly are friendly and they gladly can make you one hehe cause you need to try the authentic one before try to cook it

Nopee, i only explore java and bali. And often spending more to explore java island (like in Cirebon, Bandung, Semarang, and Yogyakarta, etc).
Ohh i wonder what sugar you have? Is it the aren and java sugar one?

One is a Coconut blossom sugar from Java.

The idea with the German community is great.
I know, that the authentic reference will make the difference.
It would be a almost three hour drive from here.

6: If you can change one thing on PPG or help Etienne to add something new on the website, what would you change or add? 🙂

Change it? nahhh no, i'm used to this ppg design, classic is cool. Rather than change, maybe sir @Etienne can add gif feature, cause actually i'm such an expressive person and sometimes it feels a bit flat (for me) if only use emojis to show expression, that's why I prefer gif, but it's fine, i can google the meme and send it in chat 😄

7: Does your name have a special meaning in your language? And do you have nicknames with your family or friends?

Of course, my parent such a philosophical person. It's a mixed of Arab, Java, and Sanskrit. which the meaning is a wise, virtuous, elegant yet pretty Queen. Tbh idk why i often shy to reveal the meaning, sounds cheeky yet prideful 😭

that's why in front of my friends, i show the side that my family never imagine that i'm getting older and i'm no longer that cutiepie and surrounds my friends, they usually call me mommy and nyai (in indo, it often give to woman that's friendly but frontal)

8: As art student which artists like for example painters or sculptors do you love the most and why? Which museums or other art places would you like the visit the most in the whole world?

Since i grew up spending my time watching animation, scifi & fantasy movies, so my favorite animator are Joe Grant, Marc Davis, Stephan Franck, Miyazaki Hayao, Naoko Nakayoshi, and Masashi Kishimoto.

They are animator who making animation for old disney, marvel series, ghibli, sailor moon and naruto. also their artwork are my inspiration in my aesthetic yet magical color pallete. and yes i hope one day i can visit (it'll better if working haha) their studio in US or Japan 😊

9: What is a secret skill that you have that not many people know about?

It's not a rare one, but i can do voice acting for female characters from kid to adult, move my ear like a cat and read english poems fluently.

10: You said that you have friends in other countries outside Asia. What do you think are the biggest differences in Indonesian culture and what parents say and how school are in Indonesia and those other countries?

The biggest difference comes when I make friends with US people. Especially for their liberal culture. Here, I am already called as an open-minded person, but they are much more open and sometimes it makes me question whether it is because they are very open-minded or because they try to trick me? that's why i secretly asking my other US friend to match the answer haha please don't hate me haha

well i'm trying my best to understand and accept differences, but don't get me wrong if i'm starting question it, no hate, only wondering 🤔
