😴 The sleep forum πŸ›Œ Everyday life and customs

as a visual communication & design student, especially focus on illustration, we (including me) lacks of sleep. I don't know when my sleep time is anymore, i messed up my sleep routine haha. I sleep when i have time (at least when i finally make some progress). moreover, I'm an extrovert type of person, I always try my best to balance work with socializing & play with my bf & friends. I would say.. it's both tiring but worth everything. by socializing, at least my social battery is increasing. maybe you could say, i don't really like sleeping. hardwork, play harder πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’…πŸ»βœ¨

That is very nice that you can be very social and that you feel comfortable with that. I am a lot more at home or if is social with like few friends and not big groups. And I really need 8 hours sleep or sometimes more. But that is also more healthy and if you sleep not enough or it is every time different when you sleep, it can also be unhealthy. So i hope that you maybe get more sleep and at the same time too. πŸ™‚

yes it's, thanks for the concern yue. but yea the older you get, if the demands and responsibilities from day to day are getting bigger + people need your service, and counting on you, in the end it's your sleep time that is sacrificed.

so while you can still enjoy sleeping, enjoy it before you can't enjoy it anymore haha

New question for the sleep forum

In what kind of places outside your house have you fallen asleep? Like in the train, bus, at school or work, in a restaurant or birthday party, in a shop or anywhere else? And were there other people around or could you sleep and not be embarrassed about it? πŸ˜›

Seriously, i arrived there at about 19.30 and i ordered some dishes, at 21.00 they only brought me one of them (it was not only me, they were slow with all the customers); then i got really bored, and i start to sleep on the table, they didn't even notice it... at 21.30 or so, i decided to leave, and they made me pay only the dish i ate

I also fall asleep in trains and busses. And in school sometimes i take nap of 10-20 minutes but that is ok like in a break. Sometimes I have too low energy but that is also because of my weight a little bit. But if you take a very small nap you feel ok. And I have a tip: so if you are at school or work and you dont feel comfortable taking like a nap of only 10 minutes you can ask a friend to sit with you and she can just look on her phone or read something and looks after you during the nap. And you can do other way too if she wants that and you can look after her. πŸ™‚ But not every day of course!! πŸ˜›

i often fallen asleep in class (when the teacher/lecturer are super boring, i know it's not good, i can't help but sleep ☺️), train, rectorate (before covid era, the rectorate office open for public and we can do damn thing we want), cinema (i feel so bad to avatar 2, perhaps it's visually great, but the story are super boring), and mall (i don't know why, i think beside my bf, makes me always feel sleepy. it's not boring, it just... his shoulder way too comfy hehe)
