😴 The sleep forum πŸ›Œ Everyday life and customs

Hello everybody! πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ What are your sleep habits? For example:

- How long do you sleep during the week and in the weekend?
- Can you fall asleep easy? And if not what do you do to fall asleep?
- Do you have a small bed or a big one for two persons?
- Do you have a room for yourself or do you share with a partner or a family member?

I hope that you did not fall asleep reading the questions!! 😴 Thank you if you want to write about it in this forum! 😊😊

If I stand around somewhere for too long, I fall asleep and take a nap...Ahaha. 😴.
During the week I go to bed between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and get up at 6:00 a.m. But I still read in bed or play games on my phone or write emails.
On the weekend I sleep as long as I can and sometimes only get up for lunch.
I have a big bed, but unfortunately I usually sleep alone in it. And luckily I have my own room. If I shared a room with my little sister, that would be really crap.

Thank you @Jinjer for posting! 😊😊 During the week i try to go to bed before 22:00 hours and I get up at 6:30 hours but in the evening it also depends on homework and other things. In the weekend on Saturday I get up early at 7:00 because I have to help babysitting in the morning so that they can do shoppings or cleaning the house, but not today that was an exception. πŸ™‚ If I dont sleep enough it is not a problem but I am just little bit more quiet and I always fall asleep very fast on the couch or in the train or bus and even in school. But that is ALSO if i sleep normal hours. 😬😬

I have a bedroom alone because I dont have brothers or sisters. My bedroom i also use for homework most of the time and I have a nice desk at the window. I have a bed that is bigger than a 1 person bed but smaller than a normal 2 person bed (it is in Dutch twijfelaar the type). I always like to sleep on my side because that is the most comfortable, but when reading i prefer to lay on my belly so you dont have to hold the book! πŸ˜› I have no plushies in bed, but i do have an extra pillow. And I have a mini table and you can put for example a glass of water or a book. 😊😊😊

during the week i sleep from 10.30 pm and 5.00am\5.40am and on week-end i sleep at 1am to 8 am. at afternoons also i take some little naps XP
I can sleep easily if i feel tired or the temperature is warm, but sometimes i have problems for sleep, i usually eat something sweet with milk or see the tv until im tired.
i sleep im a single bed but sometimes i share my room with my step sis

I go to bed around 9:00 PM, sometimes earlier, sometimes later. Although most of the time I go to sleep earlier, and not later(I stay up longer only if there's something interesting to do or an interesting movie or series. So I sleep from ten to eleven hours every day...
I can fall asleep easily, but it takes me a while. I don't mind, because it gives me time to think about plenty of things(that I forget in the morning😭)
I share my room with my sister, and it can be nice at times, for example to talk at might and annoy the whole family, but it's also annoying for me because she doesn't knock on the door before coming in, she just kicks the door open and then says: "It made a sound, it's like knocking" if I complain about it...

Thank you @Clementine_cat and @Miss_Penpal for your posts!! I first wanted to say to silly_person that 1 am is late in the weekend but it is now 23:30 hours and I am still awake and online! πŸ˜› BUTTT we got back late from Rotterdam and tomorrow I dont have to get up early! πŸ˜›

And Miss_Penpal if you can choose between a room with your sister or a room alone which do you choose? because it has both advantages and disadvantages right? But what do you think is the best? πŸ™‚

It is now 23:37 hours and I feel already like a panda!!! 🐼🐼 But without the fat belly of course and the hair and the tail and paws. πŸ˜›

- Can you fall asleep easy? And if not what do you do to fall asleep?

Mostly I do fall asleep after sometime when turning off the light and getting under the sheets. In summer time its sometimes harder to adjust and get the feeling of tiredness the same way when its bright outside all night long.

- Do you have a small bed or a big one for two persons?

Well I would say its a twin bed but techincally its a lie as its just two pairs of the same bed pushed together.

- Do you have a room for yourself or do you share with a partner or a family member?

All alone haha - I dont know why did I answer this like it was a school test or something as I didn't really do my homework in school either..

I just wanted to go to sleep and read what you wrote @jiijii04! πŸ˜› It is funny to read but is it bright in the summer in your country? πŸ™„πŸ™„ So you mean less dark or almost like daytime? That is special!! I dont see the difference a lot because i have thick curtains and very thin curtains that you can see through almost. So it depends which curtain row I use but in the summer if you use the thick curtains it becomes really dark in my room. 😊😊😴

In summer if you take a nap and if its little cloudy you cant know if the clock is 3 at day or 3 at night would look the same

Wow that is really special!! In my country it is less dark but still dark. So maybe you also need thick curtains and you can sleep more easy!! πŸ™‚

Or maybe i should hire someone to knock me out every evening first close the curtains with the right hand then shut down the lights with the left πŸ˜† The light from outside wouldnt be visible to me after that

Or a sleep mask with a panda you also have black eyes and it does not hurt and makes you look cooler! πŸ˜›

Sorry I really have to go to sleep now!!! But I can say it here because it is a sleep forum and I feel tired!! But nobody has to knock me out!!!!!!!! I am sleepy already so not necessary!! 😝😝 Have a good night everybody! πŸ™‚

I think having my own room would be nice, but I don't know if I would enjoy being alone all the time. I feel like sharing a room with my sister helps us be closer to each other. Plus, if I watch a scary movie, I prefer to share a room with my sister, and weirdly enough it's not because I'm scared for myself, but because I want to protect her from the monsters or murderers or whatever other bad things... I know, that's a bit weird.

Thanks Miss Penpal!! πŸ™‚ And i think it is not weird it just means that you care for your sister so that is very good! πŸ₯‡ I dont watch scary movies a lot because i prefer other series and movies but if I do watch them i can handle that most of the times except if it is like very scary movies that really get in your head. So horror or weird zombies i am not afraid at all of that because i dont believe in that. But more like what can really happen. But if it is about haunted things i dont like it either because that can freak me out because i do believe that can happen or at least some things. πŸ™„πŸ™„

as a visual communication & design student, especially focus on illustration, we (including me) lacks of sleep. I don't know when my sleep time is anymore, i messed up my sleep routine haha. I sleep when i have time (at least when i finally make some progress). moreover, I'm an extrovert type of person, I always try my best to balance work with socializing & play with my bf & friends. I would say.. it's both tiring but worth everything. by socializing, at least my social battery is increasing. maybe you could say, i don't really like sleeping. hardwork, play harder πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’…πŸ»βœ¨
